Gameday Menu

true story. I made 2 huge huge crockpots of my signature chili yesterday. One medium spicy and one extra spicy. I told people I was making it. I had 7 cars in and out of my driveway getting various amounts of takeout. All I am getting out of it is about 3 tablespoons at the bottom of one pot. Thats it. So, to answer @Ranching question...I'm taking those 3 tablespoons and I have Nathans beef weiners. So I guess I'm having a couple chili dogs. But I do know 7 households eating chili during the games today.
:omg:

Game Day Menu: Southern Style with a Twist

Alright y’all, it’s game day — and I’m bringing a little southern flavor to the table today!
The star of my menu is boiled peanuts — yep, that salty, soft, southern classic that you can snack on from kickoff to the fourth quarter. They’re simmered slow and loaded with flavor.

To round things out, I’ve got rib steaks sizzling up — thick, juicy, and just the right amount of char — plus some crispy spring rolls for a little game-day fusion action.

Got the TV tuned, the cooler iced, and the kitchen smelling like victory.
Let’s go, Cowboys Nation — time to eat and watch the ‘Boys bring it home! ⭐

What’s everyone else cooking up today?

I'm going to slum it today

I'm just gonna make a sandwich of some sort homemade Maybe bacon egg and cheese Or maybe a BLT style with an egg on toasted wheat, kind of brunch style since the early game.. Add little chips and some drinks that's it......

We went grocery shopping yesterday and, at this point, I don't have a clue. I'm thinking something suitable for a chilly Autumn day... soup and a grill cheese sandwich
soup and grilled cheese, you cant go wrong. You're probably thinking tomato soup. Thats what everyone matches up with a grilled cheese. But I cant eat tomato soup--I would go vegetable or veg beef.

We had a bumper crop of tomatoes this year. I fire-roasted a couple pounds yesterday along with a touch of garlic... great base for tomato soup.
