Gameday Menu

Doing a little untraditional this year. My father-in-law passed away in April. Today happens to be his Birthday, so my wife is going over to watch movies with her mom and my daughter. My friend is coming over and we are having Prime Rib and some sides and watch the game. The meat has been teasing me for a few days now. Can’t wait to eat it.
My condolences for the loss of your father-in-law.

Prime rib is fantastic and I know most people would rather have that then turkey for Thanksgiving.

No family so Tex-Mex for me! 5 shredded beef flautas y guacamole con arroz y refritos.
Guinness beer in mass quantities supplemented with 99 proof coconut rum and Baileys.

Cans will be saved for projectiles to throw at the TV for dropped passes by our head case and going for it instead of kicking the easy FG!!

I really miss my Moms cooking :( I miss both mum and dad. Hate getting old when everyone you loved has passed… :((

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I sincerely hope you all have a wonderful day.

Today, Turkey with all the traditional fixings..

Tomorrow, turkey sandwiches..

Saturday, turkey tacos..

Sunday, turkey with cabbage..

Monday, leftover turkey for the cats.......

What's on your menu?
Go Cowboys!!
All hail the almighty leftover turkey.

It is just my wife and I this Thanksgiving. We celebrated an early Thanksgiving with my brother and his wife last week. Very thankful for family.

So, today is rib-eyes, wild rice and cornbread dressing, green salad and homemade pecan pie for dessert. Along the way, we're uncorking a 20 year old cab sav because, well, why not?

Happy Thanksgiving Cowboys Fans!

Every year we do a themed Thanksgiving. This year its cajun...fixed seafood gumbo, shrimp etouffee, hot smoked salmon, mashed sweet potatoes, sauted green beans and peppers, greens, and jalapeño corn bread. Pumpkin pie with honeycomb ice cream for dessert. Rosé prosecco and IPA for beverages.

Smaller Thanksgiving since neither of my sisters, BIL, niece and nephew could not make it back. Just my family and my parents this year.

Turkey, Dressing, Sweet corn, Mashed potatoes and gravy, deviled eggs, spinach dip, green bean casserole, dinner rolls, sausage and cheese platter, and whatever desserts my mom baked since I don’t like baking/gf doesnt like baking.

Will turn leftover turkey into turkey noodle soup to freeze. Also, turkey and dressing will get frozen for sandwiches (it’s an Iowa thing).

First off, my condolences for the loss of your parents.

How about siblings, cousins, aunts/uncles, close friends to share the day with?
Thanks. It's all good. That's a lot of drama and they are all spread out anyway.

Seriously, you'll have a great, Happy Thanksgiving! I've had my share for sure over the years! I'm thankful and sad at the same time. Go Cowboys!
