Gameday Menu

[Ranching]

Big Game!!! Got our first cool front yesterday. Have a crew coming in this morning and cutting down about 10 mesquite trees that are getting to close to my fence. Marinating some beef fajitas, cueing them up at 6 and having some tacos for the game!! What's on your plate?? Go Cowboys!! Salud!

BTW..my 14 year old cat, went peacefully a few days ago. We made her comfortable, hand fed her, and let her drift off in the barn. RIP, Blackie

Wow an early start on the menu.
Right now I have no idea.

Had some grilled cheeseburgers today, kept it simple.

So tomorrow, probably something with chicken. But have no idea right now.

Texas Roadhouse earlier tonight, Taco Bell tomorrow. I hate cooking or preparing meals at home anymore.

Sorry to hear, our old dog is still barely hanging in there. I have some prime ribeyes that have been salt-brining since Thursday. Going to grill them up with au gratin potatoes…..nothing fancy.

Sorry, I had it ready for the morning, since I'm getting an early start and I pressed entrr by accident. Thanks for letting it slide.

[JohnnyTheFox]

Going to make a big batch of homemade chicken noodle soup. So very sorry for the loss of your fur child

Got my dog some drops for her eyes and ears. Seem to be helping. She's almost 16...hanging in there, too.

Brisket hits the smoker at 7am, wifey making up some fried asparagus and garlic mashed taters to go with it. Spending the afternoon in the garage brewing up a NEIPA and probably having a couple while I reorganize the garage for the 100th time this year and watch/listen to the early games

Sorry to hear about your kitty man

Soup in the crockpot. Been waiting for these cold evenings for a while now so we're gonna get after it.

Sorry to hear about the cat. We had to put down our 17 year old dog a little over two weeks ago and it was something I'll never forget as long as I live. I think it was Carlin that said that getting a pet was trauma waiting to happen.

[big dog cowboy]

After last week's disaster, changing things up. No way I'm running that back again so soon.

Therefore, the Breakfast of Champions this fine gameday is....

[Kwyn]

I’m having fajita nachos

You must like long bouts of toilet time. Lol

[Hardline]

I bought two dozen of these awesome tamales made by a Mexican lady I know,
Going to finish them off with a 6 pack of ice cold Dos Equis beer.

Mother in law still in Vegas.
Couple of friends coming over and bringing their gourmet hotdogs (whatever that means) with potato salad.
I'll have cheesecake, coffee, Coors Light, and soft drinks.
