Does anyone have/had it?

If so how is it? Is it worth it for the
2 Games Out
$12.95 first month
Plus magazine bonus
($22.95/month after)

Also:
How long does it take for new games to become available.

I use the blockbuster gameplan, can't remember exactly how much it is but I get two games at a time and can switch them out as often as I like, or keep them as long as I like. I like being able to walk into the store and look around.

I have a sub, and they suck. Lost some games in the mail, but after reporting it to the PO and to gamefly they mysteriously showed up a month later. There's a waiting list for any recent game/top rated game.

I have gamefly and I really like it, no complaints.

The turn around is pretty quick I usually get the game in 2 days from when they ship.

If you figure a new game is $60 (and a lot of games you want to play aren't worth permanently owning), I think it works out with the $22 a month.

They also sell a lot of used games and you get member discounts. (They probably overbuy the new releases so they will have enough available and then sell the extras off in a couple months).

There is a problem with the "most popular/new releases" not being readily available because everybody rents it, but if you anticipate a new release and put it in your que before it comes out in my experience you usually get it.

Overall I think it's worth it.

I'm in NY. It's great if you're trying to catch up on some old games. But newer games have huge waitlines if you're not one of the first people to book it (pre-release) and have an open slot.

I think there are 4 mailing centers, the one for the Northeast is in Pittsburgh. I'm in DFW and they come from Austin for comparison. I bet the shipping times would be similar.

You could always just try it for 3 months and cancel no big deal.

Im subscribing because of the surge of games I want to play, Darksiders, Sabeutour, Mass Effect 2 and a few others coming over over the next 3 months, plus games I never got but want to catch up on Halo ODST etc;.

How is it on getting new games?

It's great if you want to try a lot of different stuff without buying it.

There is an issue with waiting for some of the "most popular/new releases" but I don't think it's too bad, you'll be able to get most of the games you listed in decent time.

Also like someone mentioned if you put the game in your slot before it is released you have a high chance of getting it on the release date.

Thanks for your help.
After 2 months and I become a member in good standing I intend to upgrade to 3 games at a time.

The problem with Blockbuster is there are a lot of games that they don't get, that has forced me to use Gamefly (who is too slow IMO).
