As fans, especially Cowboys fans, we need to focus more on this week's game and I think this thread will be the perfect place to do that.

Cards Offense vs. Cowboys Defense

The one major problem the Cards can and maybe will give the Cowboys defense is through their passing game. Leinart has shown glimpses of what lies ahead for Cards fans. Good accuracy and touch. Some have questioned his arm strength but from what I've seen it'll get the job done. That WR tandem is tops in the league as far as I'm concerned. Bolden is one tough hombre to bring down and has excellent hands and deceptive speed. Fitzgerald uses more finess and his pure God-given talents to consistently beat coverage.

Let's not forget Edge James. The same offensive line that is getting Leinart killed is causing James to be bottled up in the running game. However, James is a very good running back and an excellent receiver out of the backfield. I'd like to think the Boys' run D can take advantage of the Cards below average OL.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, the Cowboys blitzed Roy several times against Cade McCown last season. Will the Cowboys do the same this year against Leinart with Edge coming out of the backfield while also exposing our weak deep coverage unit?

Cowboys Offense vs. Cards Defense

Antrell Rolle has been disappointing so far in his young career. From what I've read from Cards fans, he's still a little too aggressive and gets called for penalties on a regular basis. On the other hand, Adrian Wilson, perhaps the most underrated safety in the league, anchors the Cards secondary. I'd like to see Witten force Wilson to match up with him one-on-one thus leaving either Terry or T.O. in single coverage on the outside.

All this doesn't mean Tony Romo will be able to sit back and have lunch in the pocket. Dansby and Okeafor make a living on getting after the quarterback. Keep in mind, this is the same defensive line and backfield that gave the Bears fits (although how strong does that Bears O look now?).

Summary

I think this is a game where the Cowboys try to double the Cards' TOP by running the ball down their throats with JJ and MBIII. I don't expect tons of scoring here. I believe the Cowboys win 20-10.

I'd like to read your thoughts as well...

Easy stop hurting ourselves, play hard for 4 qrts and we will win this game. Thus far this season Dallas has done more to hurt themselves than what the team we are playing has done to us. Even in games that we are turning the ball over, committing penalties we have still hung tight in the game. Most team who do that end up getting blown out and that has not been the case thus far. Dallas has to stop being our own worst enemy

Beating the Cards should be such an easy task that all you have to do is show up on Sunday, don't make any mistakes, and just let the Cards beat themselves. They know how to do that better than any team in the NFL right now.

Serious. Just stop the run and play mistake free football.

That said, I'm going to bet the farm on the Cowboys this weekend. Spread is 7 right now, Boys' should win by 10+.

They have a nifty pass rush, but don't be fooled by the Bears allowing all those sacks. Most of the time Grossman was at fault for those - he averaged holding the ball for something like 6.3 seconds, and wouldn't check down.

The Arizona Cardinals are just a bad football team. They struggle to stop the run and the pass, they can't run the ball effectively and the aforementioned fact is even magnified when you roll out a Rookie QB.

Bottom line, I know they gave the Bears a run for their money, but the Bears pulled the game out, but if the Cowboys lose to this team, they really dont deserve to make the Playoff.

Now if we had a creative and high pressure scheme on defense, we could try to confuse Leinart but I doubt we do that.

in these days u hardly can say this is an easy game we might end up losing if we play like we did last week. I am really disspointed of NFC East Teams specially Dallas Washington and Philly all not as advertised befor the season start. and it is not from lack of talent

Oakland made it thorugh that line several times and sacked Leinhart, HOWEVER our D can not get a pass rush it they had to. Our D lets everyone know who is blitzing and when. The Cards D is good, better then most think.

I will be at this game and I am hoping we come out a win. This place would be unbearable if not.

You are correct but Dallas has a much higher chance of showing up this weekend since they played poorly last weekend. I'll take the Boys for 500.
