I don't want to see some big departure from our win Sunday.

But you need to throw a mild wrinkle in here and there. Here are a few of things I'd be up for.

1. Tight end screen with Bennett. I don't trust the guy to run a real route but I like his athleticism with the ball. I also think it might surprise.
2. Wildcat inside the Philly ten. I think Red has used that quite effectively this season. I'm a big 'throw-the-rock- guy but I recognize the challenges of throwing the ball when the field is very compressed. I like Choice doing his thing in close.
3. More Ogletree please. OK this is the exact same thing: I wouldn't mind trying that deep ball one more time to Tree.

On 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1, I'd like to see a playaction pass to Witten ..... or a QB sneak.

I think we will see Ogletree more. There was a thread someone started last week about the coaching staff "saving" ogletree till the playoffs. If I remember right, it was a resounding "no" was the reply he got.

however, I'm not so sure about this the more I think about it. Ogletree has definetely seen the field more lately, and with the stinker of a game Roy just put up, AND the fact that you always like to throw a wrinkle to a team in the playoffs (especially a team we just saw the week prior). I'm starting to think Ogletree might get ALOT of snaps, and I'm be willing to bet money that he see's more snaps than he has seen in any game thus far.

Remember, Against the Giants a couple years ago, this staff annointed MBIII the starter in the first playoff game, and julius rode the pine. So its not like there isn't a precedent from our coaching staff to do something like this.

As far as gameplan, you have to really prepare for a ton of blitz. After watching the tape of Romo destroying the zone coverage there is no way Philly doesn't blitz us early and often. It will be one of the keys to the game.

Let's do the same things that were successful. If they can stop it, then I hope we can throw in some new things here and there.

You forgot to mention the WR trick play reverse to Austin!

I agree. I think given the success Dallas can give some of the same looks and run some different things off it. Dallas has not used trick plays this year but I would not be surprised to see Crayton throw a pass off of a reverse. By and large through we need to go out and just run and execute our offense. Do that and avoid turnovers I think we will be fine.

Tell you the truth I'm kinda nervous with the screen.:nervous:

I don't think we do it that well and if they're looking for it I can see a Turn over.

I think Dallas has been doing much better with the screens as of late.

I agree with more Ogletree. He was open deep and I loved the deep sideline route. He was so open Romo could have punted it to him. I think Brown is still back pedelling.:D

I was pleasantly surprised at how often our WRs got open in this game.

I want to see more blitzing. I usually want to see us back off the blitz, but not for this game.
As good as we were defensively, I was getting a little annoyed with all the time McNabb got in spots when they went max protect.

My plan would be to meld the gameplans from both games into one. That way I'm ready for the blitzes with screens and quick passes to Witten and I'm ready for zone coverage. I play field position and make them go 70-80 yards everytime they get the ball. On defense, I do the same thing as last week but I'd be ready to bring more heat on McNabb. If he is on with his passes, You have to pressure him to get him out of sync.

If it's 18 inches or less I like a sneak too.

Not "a lot" but I could see an increase.

But to me that's different than the Cowboys "stashing" him or whatever, which is what the poster was proposing. Teams don't stash players for the playoffs. It's just a simple reality that trust in Roy has continued to diminish and with each week Ogletree continues to build on his experience.

I like rushing 5 maybe and I like corner blitzes but I think we can get enough rush most of the time with 4, 5 or 6. When it's 3rd and long then dial up even more pressure.

You want to keep McNabb in the pocket.

I keep hearing that the iggles didn't show everything last game.

We've seen these guys for how many years now ,and with a better D coordinator who is not there any more, so what can they bring that we haven't seen:confused:

Nuttin,

Bring It.
