I'm betting you always played as the Raiders too. Had to cheat with Bo Jackson didn't you? :laugh2:

Who didn't play with Bo at least once in a while. That was the most awesome video game football player ever! Dude was like Superman the way tacklers would bounce off of him.

I remember this map actually. They had it in a nintendo power magazine, or something, when the game came out. We had the map but it, of course, didn't have all the hidden stuff marked on it. We went in and marked it all as we found it.

I did, made both Bo and Marcus 2000 yard rushers.

Either that or played as the Oilers and had Moon throw for like 7000 yards. Fun times.

Anyone play this game to the point until the tune stuck in your head... like... forever?

I did. :( :)

That was a great game and series, although I have gotten away from it. The last version I played was for the old Nintendo 64.

How about prior to games being on consoles. I remember flipping Super Mario Bros, Shinobi, Rastan, Icarian Warroirs, Double Dragon, TimePilot, 1942, Tempest, and a boat load of other arcade games before they were on consoles.

If you think dying 30k times is bad, it's even worse when you paid .25 to play it! :laugh2:

Yeah, I probably spent more money on the original Ninja Turtles arcade game than I've spent on any game since.

I'll just say Street Fighter 2,... I probably spend enough money on that in the arcades to buy a new car if i had it all back

Gauntlet 1 and 2 are the only games I ever really spent any money on in the arcade.

Blue wizard is about to die

Sweet. I could never beat the first Legend of Zelda. Once I got to last fight with Gannon in his castle, I couldn't beat him.

Me and my brother were at a Vintage Game store in the Irving Mall last weekend.

My brother was showing the guy that worked at the store how to get to the Negative World in Super Mario Bros on Nintendo lol.

Those were the days.

Yeah spent a ton of money at the arcade on Gauntlet. We had one at the University rec center and as kids we'd ride our bikes over there and play.
