Games Impacting the Boys

Some of the games involving teams we'll be fighting against for a playoff spot seem to be going well, although all are very close.

Minnesota and Miami tied at 10
Philly down by 4
Carolina up by 10 over St. Louis (someone has to win the south. might as well get the other competition out of the way)
Cincy 10-7 over New Orleans
Baltimore only down by 4 to Atlanta and they're first and goal at the 3 right now.

You gotta love it anytime a team beats the Beagles. I guess I'll probably pull for them when they play the Giants again in December, but they'll probably be out of he playoff picture then and get the birdcrap beat out of them.

I'm torn on the Rams-Panthers game. Someone has to win the South and I think it will be Carolina. I think it's better for other potential wild card teams to keep getting beat. On the other hand, we still are obviously in the running for the East title and I'd like to possibly get some home field advantage if we do win the division. Panthers losing would help that scenario. However, first things first. Get in the playoffs and then worry about homefield.
