Yes, he was the OC at the time but it was clearly known that he had TOTAL control over the offense and he was also the assistant HEAD COACH at the time too. Also it was his call who was on the field the entire game and after about 3 holding/false start calls throughout the game it was his call to leave his right tackle in, that ultimately let the game end like this

One of my all-time favorites was 9/11 opening night against the Jets with a 7 point lead 9 min left in the 4th and after a Witten catch and run to the 2 yard line boy wonder decides to call 3 straight pass plays 2 I believe from shotgun and the rest is history. One of my all-time favorite JG piles of ****.
