I suppose Oregon State (3-1 in the Pac-10) and Virginia Tech (4-0 in the ACC) is not "somebody."

Two power conference schools.

Conveniently forgetting all about that James Madison meltdown there w/ Vtech?

Whatever to make your point.

Oregon State?

Child please...

I agree that VT losing to James Madison did not help our SOS, but how arrogant was VT to schedule another game 4 days after playing a top 5 ranked team from the year before? The VT/BSU game was a physical game and VT was beat up both physically and emotionally. I think had VT taken that Saturday off and then played James Madison you would have had a far different outcome. I know this is all woulda shoulda coulda, but if you are going to completely dismiss VT for losing that game, then take everything about that game into consideration.

At the end of the year, Boise could very well have 3 ranked teams that they defeated. VT, Hawaii and Nevada. That is assuming that BSU wins out, and that Hawaii can sneak back into the top 25 with 3 losses. Oregon State would need to win out to get back into the top 25, while that is not impossible I don't think that is reasonable. Best case scenario is 4 top 25 wins and 2 top 50, but I think 3 top 25 and 3 top 50 is more realistic. Thankfully Boise is moving into the hard part of their conference scheduling, we get the top 3 teams after BSU in a row.
