I have made it no secret that I dislike Jason and that hasn't changed much. It now appears that he has limited input before the game in terms of preparations, i.e. offensively and defensively. IMO, he is now a walk-around coach overseeing the other coaches and allowing them to do their thing....and I like it.

As long as Scott and Rod do their thing, I can live with the red-headed genius patrolling the sidelines. Who knows, maybe he is part of the reason for allowing this or it could be all Jerry's doing, IDK.

All I know is that there is something brewing here in Dallas and I believe our offensive strategy will win more games than lose; therefore, resulting in a winning season. I credit Linehan for our offensive output but have to give some to Garrett for allowing him to do so.

It is unusual and nice to see them play off the run rather than off the pass and it is working....keep it up until it is not possible.

Romo, wow Romo, he is waking up and I had little doubt that he would but didn't expect it this early, more like week 6 or 7. It was a beautiful sight to not see him force it to Witten, he used him due to playing off of the run.....absolutely perfect use of him.

I do have some negatives....where was the beastly and our defensive front is worrisome. Not to mention Mo and Carter may not play for awhile meaning we need two more bodies if so. It is time to call up Sam for that pass rush specialist, what can it hurt? We need some sacks.

Oh, who is Austin? We now have Terrance :)

Winning makes Garrett look like a much better head coach. Funny how that works, but he seemed so in control tonight. I love the rapport he has with the players and his classic slap on the helmet after a good play is hilarious.

Yeah, seriously, Garrett continues to win I have no problem with him either.

To be honest, it looks like the key to his newfound success was having no influence on the playcalling.

Definitely see a big difference in play calling this year. Seems like night and day.

LOL I totally agree with you here. I can't stand Garrett. But if he lets the two other coaches run the show, then I'm really okay with that. I'm the most critical anti-Garrett here. But can't take away this big win from him. He just needs let the other coaches do the hard work and sit back and enjoy the ride.

I'll take this coaching trio all day, any day.

Linehan is brilliant in his play calling. Marinelli gets a lot out of subpar talent.

Garrett is in a role he can truly excel in -- acting superior to everyone without actually having to do anything of substance. Some people are just born managers that shouldn't get into the weeds.

Awesome replies, now I am off to massacre some 12-yr olds in Destiny....or so I think :lmao:

Garrett seems much better when he can focus on organization and motivation. Trying to do that while coming up with strategies in a complex game just didn't work for him. Now he has time to work the refs, think about time management, and the big picture. I think Garrett is a big picture guy.
