Wade can't come in and be our DC unless SD lets him out of his contract. The only way Phillips makes it to Dallas is being named HC.

nice that would be awsome.. i can live with that. i really wanted parcells to stay for one more year. but at the same time we need a spark to get over that hump?

i'd love to have Phillips, but if Garrett is already the OC coord and Phillips has problems with that I think Norv wouldn't mind haveing Garrett as OC since he coached him. Also Dan Reeves wanting to come back seems to not care at what price too.

Looks good to me, and maybe another former player as a position coach.

I don't want Reeves here with the Cowboys for any reason. Yes he took the Broncos to the SB several times with Elway as the QB and failed to win any of them. But the most important problem with Reeves is he is not a good QB coach no matter what some here want to believe. Reeves and Elway did not get along well at all after the first year with Elway thrilled when Reeves was fired. Elway made it plain that he believed Reeves hindered his development because of Reeves paranoia about controlling everything and no one being able do anything. He didn't like it when Elway ad libbed when it was necessary in the last quarter and when Elway was successful. His paronia came into play cause he even believed his OC and Elway were working behind his back so Elway could develop. Had similar control problems with the Giants and then in Atlanta. There's a reason he was fired from all 3 jobs and I just don't want him here to hinder both Romo and Garrett's developments. Make no mistake Reeves will definitely see both of them as a threat to his control and he has a track record of not dealing well with that.
