I'm thinking there has to be an advantage here for one of these coaches to know the others tendencies.

They were together for 6 years on the Cowboys in meetings, strategies, game plans etc. I don't know if the Vikings defensive philosophy is the same as it was when Zimmer was the coordinator in Dallas, but Garrett has to have an idea what Zimmer likes to do in certain situations.

even if Zimmers game plan and tendencies have changed since he left Dallas he has been with Minnesota for over 5 years..is it asking to much for Garrett and Crew to watch film from that duration like any normal HC and coaching staff? or better yet game film from the first 8 weeks of this season.

I'd rather Mike Zimmer as the Cowboys head coach over Jason Garrett any day, because in calling a game alone, Zimmer is better calling a defensive game than Garrett is at calling an offensive game..
Since Garrett won’t be calling the offense we should be fine

KELLEN MOORE'S offense is #1 in the league. Garrett tried to mess that up when he started messing around in the Saints game.

Lol... either Garrett is meddling or he's not, stop flopping like a fish out of water. And Kellen's still running Garrett's offense , don't be dumb.

Kellen Moore's offense for one and Jason Garrett's team has the second most penalty yards in the league, one behind Oakland...

Lol...typical fool, that's not what was said here , Garrett is meddling, this board has said so.
And for the record, Kellen's still calling Garrett's offense.

I guess you don't remember when the Cowboys allowed 3 200+ yard rushers in a season then.

Zimmer left Dallas after the 2006 season and Garrett didn't come to Dallas as a coach until the 2007 season.
