I'm just passi
ng on a thought I was having watching football today. I remember in the 2011 draft that there were two QBs that interested Garrett a great deal - enough that we may have spent our 2nd round pick if they had lasted: Andy Dalton and Colin Kappernick (?sp). Both of them appear to be playing very well in their second year here. If Garrett is still in the fold I'm pretty sure he'll find us a good QB when we decide to go shopping for Romo's heir apparent.

Harbaugh in SF totally SOLD OUT Alex Smith, who directeed his team to a 6-2-1 record this year, and 13-3 last year with a birth in the NFC Championship. For a second year player. I hope it bites him in the ***.

Where is the loyalty, honor, sacrifice?

So can Sean Payton.

you are gonna be so heartbroken.......its not even a remote possibilty....you know that right?

Whoever is the coach next season, and I think it will be Garrett we probably need to be looking at an eventual replacement for Romo either next season or the season after. How much did it benefit Rodgers to sit behind Farve for a couple seasons? I think its the way to go.

Yes it is a possibility.

I wish we had Harbaugh.

Not even a remote possibility?

If Opie keeps up his established levels of mind blowing, unprecedented ineptitude, Id say its more than a remote possibility.

I'm glad you brought up Alex Smith. He is the guy a lot of Cowboys fans think Romo actually is from the way they talk. In reality, there is no comparison.

Not really going out on a limb with either. Both were extremely highly thought of by every team in the league going into the draft.

no it isnt....it is a pipe dream. that is all.....
Is it likely, no, but to say it's not even a remote possibility is ridiculous. He has many more reasons to coach the Cowboys than continue with the Saints.

Stephen McGee disagrees.

Beat me to it.

But it's not like Garrett had as much influence then as he does now.

Still, whoever liked McGee.....please fire that guy.

If Colin Kapernick went to the Cowboys, there would be a lot of Turlock,CA residents (where he is from) ot that happy since that is 49ers country. When he was drafted one of th first person that he drafted was a guy I work with daughter. He knows him very well and Kapernick has been to his house many times. Says he he a great guy and fine young gentleman. Very humble.

thinking Payton would leave
1)Drew Brees a top 3 QB,
2) the Saints , a perennial playoff team
3)New Orleans.. a city that loves him
4)and an owner and GM who gives him whatever he wants

to come to this mess is ridiculous....
