For this time and hopefully more, our coaching staff out coached the opponent. What was Carroll and Schottenheimer thinking? They were losing the 2nd half, they had no run game, yet on 6 of 7 drives they open with a run. No in game adjustments to our defense manhandling their run game. Why not just trust Wilson to win instead of watching your running backs get brick walled by our defense?

If our defense looks like this the rest of the playoffs we are SB ready boys!

If it was the other way around, this board would be in meltdown mode and flooded with “I told you so” posts about how Garrett and our staff is trash.

But those same people won’t give our staff an ounce of credit after turning 3-5 into 10-6 and at least one playoff win. They call themselves “realists”.
Most unrealistic fans I’ve ever seen though.

Garrett is not a good coach. The players love him though.

Our end of the first half clock management was really good for about the first time in 10 years. I was schocked honestly!

Maybe Garrett learned something.

That being said, he needs to do something about Linehan. Calling a Jet Sweep to the short side of the field is beyond stupid! Calling a screen pass in the end zone is also beyond stupid.

Any teenager who plays Madden understands these concepts.

Carrol is a bit too pompous. I had a feeling that Carrol, thought they had won the game at one point with the team sitting back grinning ear to ear. D Law would not allow that on the Dallas's bench. Seahawks were feeling satisfied.

If Linehan called a game like Schottenheimer everybody would be calling for his head, rightfully so. Guess what they are doing in Seattle and Seahawk fans everywhere? Exactly that.. jets fans and Georgia fans are basically laughing at the Seahawks.

And BTW, the Seahawks were expected to be awful this year, especially with their core players leaving. Dallas, on the other hand, was not.

I really don't want to bash Jason Garrett after that win last night but that statement is way off.
I wouldn't say Pete Carroll was out coached. The Cowboys players just out played the Seahawks.
I would rather have Pete Carroll as a head coach over Jason Garrett. He is way more successful in the postseason, where it matters most.

I honestly believe that Russ's td run on D-Law to put them up 14-10 they thought we'd fold up the tent. That it would be all Seahawks in the 4th quarter. It just felt like they started feeling themselves way to much.

The play calling was bad for the Seahawks last night.
You are hey stuck to the run a lot and burned up a lot of valuable time. Meanwhile they have a Qb that is close to elite that they didn’t let win the game for them.

That is fine with me though.

Saying Garrett is greater than Pete Carroll is the height of idiocy.

If they want to say Garrett is greater than Marty Schottenheimer, then they can have at it. It’s like arguing which poop stinks more.

And players LOVE to play for Pete Carroll. Apparently that criteria is only valid for Garrett though..

Seattle would of won if they threw the ball more often. Our secondary could not stop them.

Yah, Carroll earilly employed the "play not to lose", "conservative", "boring", "Garrett cookie cutter", gameplan. Its like he stole it from Garrett.

I wouldnt say that Garrett out coached him, I would say that the Cowboys were at home and Carroll coached down to Garretts level. What did Garrett do in the game? It was the same boring nonsense. A few rollouts and a few Dak runs in do or die time. Other then that, Garrett/linehan were maddening all game long.

This mentality and offense HAS to go in the offseason. One way or another.

The chomper vs the clapper ....sounds like a great undercard fight

The term "out coached" only comes up around here when we lose.

When we win its always because of something else.

The screen in the end zone almost sent me to the ER...unbelievable call that could've gone so wrong.

I was very glad they were so stubborn. Based on their success of the deep ball, they game would have been very difficult had they let Russell air it out.

I don't expect either of our next two opponents to do that. Hopefully the secondary steps it up.

Just what were they doing with the onside kick?

I can't square the circle.
I can't believe the guy overkicked the ball so badly.
And I can't believe they called for a deep pooch like that.
And really Beasley should have called a fair catch. That's why you can't just pooch kick a 10 yard pop up and create a jump ball, btw.

How can you say this? We threw into the deep middle not once, but TWICE in this game. Let me repeat, twice in one game.

It was an all out Lamonica effort for Red and SL. (You young guys can Google that)
