lets say we end the season 10-6 make the playoffs and lose first round.
Do you think Jerry will make and hand out the Kool-Aid of Garrett being a good head coach because of how we turned the season around and made the playoffs? No caring that we are one and done and not caring about how the offense is struggling.

Discuss.....

The only way Garrett is gone is if we lose the next 4 games and look bad doing it. Garrett is here no matter what happens in the playoffs.

What is it with these JG threads - the guy is staying - Jerry loves him.

He will only ever lose his job if the team has a Uncle Wade like collapse.
I think Garrett was just as responsible for that collapse since he was assistant head coach and in charge of an anemic offense. He should have been fired right along with Uncle Wade.

They need to fire the OC and head coach for continuously churning out sub par tes but continue to play them every passing snap.

When is Tavon gonna get healthy enough to substitute on passing plays for this inept bunch of tes who are allergic at Scoring but we leave them out there everydown to show everyone first hand as an example of how inneffective it is to have a subpar receiver on important passing downs. Maybe they can hire jack pardee because they aren't going anywhere with an arsenal of tes who play every down but never produce jack squat.

More rb and slot wrs please. Our offense isnt any better with any of these tes using as a receiver . Swaim and Schultz are duds. Jarwin still is far away from Austin but him and Rico still aren't moving the chains on 3rd down or scoring. At least Tavon has some speed and can beat the blitz and score.

We're always batting Zero at Te. And we still refuse to substitute for better rbs and slot wrs

We're only as potent as these one dimensional blockers on offense. They get paid for putting up zeros in the TD column every year

The question I am sure we will face this off season is what if Chris Richard is offered a H/C job somewhere else. I have a felling that's going to happen, or he gets a DC offer. We let a few good coaches get away from us, do we let Richard go or offer him the H/C spot in Dallas?

I don;t think Jerry is willing to fire Garrett to keep Richard. I doubt he fires Marinelli either, unless Marinelli chooses to retire.

Garretts offense stinks and can't win at the playoff level. Every week the tes put up zeros and all the other skilled players and the team has to suffer. If zeke Amari and Dak doesn't score Every game then we can't win. I don't think they can keep their Scoring averages that consistent to keep winning at the playoff level and I have no doubt that we're gonna have 1 -2 TDS a year by our tes who are supposed to be contributing on paper. I have no faith in a te led offense that doesn't have one that score
I'm out on carrot top as the coach in this everydown te offense that uses a designated blocker on every passing snap. When it's 3rd and 15 and you have an unskilled receiver on the field not Producing then you have to change the personnel groups to get guys on the field that can make those plays at crucial times. Who is there left to prove when it's right there in black n white that they are not consistent enough as a receiver to warrant those passing snaps.

Richard is a defensive guy. He's not gonna land a hc position. Lol

He will be our HC next year no matter what happens.

Yes he will and should. After all this team has gone through this year, it would be amazing for this 10-6 record to happen.

Garrett is here unless they lose out or somehow miss the playoffs. Then I still have my doubts he will be fired.
Linehan for sure, but Garrett, not so much.

Win the division, Garrett stays for 2019. However, the real question then would be. Does Jerry let him play out his contract, or will he give him an extension.
I get if they win a playoff game, but lose at NO or LA, he and Dak get new contracts.
It is just like Jerry to do that.

I think we win out in December and win the first round of the playoffs. I can't see us beating the Rams or Saints again, especially in their turf. Because of my prediction, I can't see Garrett being fired this year with my prediction. This team is too talented, and I think we see some of the best Dak in December through January.

In that circumstance, he would have won the division two out of the last three years. Cowboys fans are ridiculous.
