Gilbert hasn’t been good since high school. Stunk at UT so it shouldn’t be a surprise that he has stunk in the NFL.

Gilbert almost came back against Alabama as a rookie in the bowl game. If you think he stunk at Ut it’s probably because he decide he was going pro as a teenager

There is a big difference between saying Dak is the only one who can run this offense and saying Gilbert can run it as well as Dak. I can name maybe7-10 QBs who can run this offense as well as Dak, and Gilbert is definitely not one of them.

Gilbert came out hot against Alabama until they figured him out. He finished the game 15 of 40 with 186 yards passing 4.5 yards attempt. Not that great but he was thrown into a nightmare. The next year he started all 12 games for UT and only had 10 passing TDS and 17 ints. The next year he was done after the first 2 games with shoulder injury and never played for UT again. Explain to me what was good about his time at UT?
