Garrett Has To Be Blamed Here

I thought this sloppiness would be gone with Wade.

It's funny how the D was been depleted and injured, yet Rob has had them prepared for every game so far. What are the excuses for Garrett? I hope we're not holding him to a double standard when Rob has had JV players in his secondary and has still got them to play.

Offensive playcalling didn't seem too hot, and the team is severely lackluster in preparation.

I'm gonna enjoy the victory tonight because of Romo, who I have a deeply growing mancrush on. He saved the game on offense, yet again. And props to the D for stepping up time after time. Hopefully Miles returns next week...

Just based on the ignorance in your post, I assume you are a Skins fan

I'm not sure what Costa's problem is. Personally, I'd bench him.

Other than that, lots of injuries and a lockout make for players who are confused.

Most of it OTree...been around 3 yrs.......should know the reads, routes

Could see it being simplified for the rooks, Robinson.....

the sloppiness is on osta, the sloppiness of the WRs is on Dez and the other WR. Dez should know this playbook by now. Olgetree, Holley, and Robinson aren't in there as much but besides Robinson they should know what to do, they are in practice. Garrett did a great job with all the injuries this team has.

garrett just mentioned the cadence calling on the Commanders...

How dare you question our Golden Boy Dez?

We had inexperienced WR's....An O-line getting Romo near death....he his best with what we had...he took that field goal when we all wanted to go for it on 4th early in the game...smart move

just shut up, don't blame Garret

I like Garrett's vision for a team, but the man needs to hire an offensive coordinator. I can't sit through another season of his play calling.

Garrett is the one who changed the whole attitude of this team. We are much more consistent, physical and mentally tough. That's all on JG. I find it hard to put too much blame on him right now, after we beat a good division rival with all the injuries.

Garrett just said in his PC that on some of the botched snaps that the Skins were calling out stuff that was similar to our cadence, which was causing problems.

So, perhaps not complete ineptitude.

Romo did great. Defense did great. New kicker was great. Yet we have anti Garrett agendas still going on.

Offensively I'm very upset about the poor play by Costa, the lack of knowledge of the plays, and the routes, by Tree and Dez. You have to cut Robinson some slack cause he's been here a week or something. Dez is in his second year and O-Tree has been here 3 years now. There is no excuse for not knowing where to line up or what route to run.

I also am left shaking my head, and wondering, with some of our play calling. Now I don't expect any coach to be perfect, or have a perfect game plan, by any means, but sometime Garrett just makes me wonder what he's thinking with his play calling.

I love him as the HC though.

Can we really keep using the lockout and injuries for just one side of the ball?

The defense has overcome both of those things. Seems like the same mistakes since 2008 on offense.

The Garrett blamers will be around every week. Who cares? The guy is doing a GREAT job. This team is so much tougher than previous versions it isn't even close.

Everyone drooling over Harbaugh, but he went home a loser.
I guess Shanahan had his bunch better prepared? He went home a loser.

2-1 and should be 3-0. Great start.

Yes, blame Garrett. God knows if this was a Wade Phillips coached team they would not of packed it in mid week and blamed the injuries.

Trust me, every one of these mistakes was mental, nothing that can be coached. What was different was the fight.

What is ignorant about it?

Seriously, though....Wade had NOTHING to do with the O...just like right now, IMO, JG has nothing to do with the D.

Why would you think that anything would change except that now JG is running practices.

I thought that we would be more prepared and disciplined than we are....WR's lining up in the wrong places...o-linemen standing up turning around asking Romo what's going on or whatever....come on man!

I can live with his play calling between the 20's.

Red zone/goal line is a different story. First and goal from the 2 and we're in shotgun. Why? We ran the ball effectively just prior to that with a FB and FJ in the backfield. Now we run one draw with Choice and try to throw it twice afterwards.

Three straight weeks we've screwed up goal line play calling. It killed us in the Jets game and darn near killed us tonight.

It's really amazing that between the offense and the defense, the defense has almost zero miscommunication, and they're virtually brand new to an extremely complex defense.

Yet Garrett can't teach the players where to line up on offense.
