Compared to the past 2 regimes i really think we are headed in the right direction. Getting rid of the fat (barber, williams, gurode, columbo etc), going young on the Oline, bringing in rob ryan and jimmy robinson and not being cute and drafting T.Smith. But you can't fix all our problems in a day. A head coach is a CEO and I believe we have a good CEO.

Don't get me wrong, I am still pissed at what happened yesterday and what happened against the jets, lions and patriots. These issues come down to play calling and game management and this can be solved by bringing in a OC play caller. Hope Garrett is smart enough to realize this. He just has too much on his plate during a game under so much pressure.

Another thing I thought when they showed Garrett during the game is that he looks 5 years older already and looked so tired. And my wife (casual observer) confirmed it when i was rewatching the game today. She goes, look at his red eyes, he looks so tired. Get some more sleep Garrett. Whatever you do Saturday night will not impact the game on Sunday. It should have been finished during the week.

As fans of the Cowboys, let's stop complaining and start supporting this team throughthe highs and lows.

I don't think that there is a person on here who doesn't watch the game cheering like heck that we win. We ALL support the team....that is why we are here.

Being a fan...complaining and cheering is what being a fanatic is all about. The ones that make me sick are the ones that believe that their "team" be it sports or politics can do no wrong. They all can and they all do.

This is the norm around here after a loss....by Tuesday/Wednesday, most people will be looking forward to the next game....but there will also be some that are still focused on what happened yesterday. It's normal since that is the last game that we had.

Come Monday/Tuesday of next week, this game won't be talked about as long as the same blunders aren't made.

If JG got adequate sleep, there would be many on here roasting him for not being didicated enough. Short of going 19-0, he isn't good enough (slight exaggeration).

I think if his team comes out and beats the Giants and the Eagles at home, he will have a division champion.

That is who the Cowboys have to beat, anyway. We know it, and they know it. Everyone knows it.

I'm in. I think it is fine to be critical, but you can do that without going overboard. Unfortunately, it seems that in this forum (and most forums I have ever viewed) there are only two sides... either win the Super Bowl every year vs Fire his butt... for some reason, there is no debating the middle ground.

But, I am with you. Support your team. Understand that there will be ups and downs. Discuss the ups and downs, second guess the decisions (while remembering you are enjoying the benefit of hindsight), be critical of players who are not living up to their ability, but most of all... Enjoy the ride.

If you can't do that, then go try to find a perfect team to root for. By the way, if you do find a perfect team, they won't have you as a fan, because you are not perfect.

I support this team and its chances of winning a Super Bowl, which is why I would also support swiftly kicking Garrett to the curb and hiring a coach who is capable of performing at this level.

Garrett will be fine as a HC in the NFL. He really does have a "system" in place for creating a winning team with a winning attitude. But it takes time, and more than time it takes following each step, each process along the way.

It is the TIME factor that I believe is the real issue. You refer to it as a lack of sleep, but the crunch for time is not unique to Garrett. Every coach who is worth his salt is crunched for time. There is ever so much to do, so much that takes up his attention. It leaves little time for anything outside of football. And THAT is why Garrett needs to bring in an offensive coordinator.

What makes Garrett special is the dedication to purpose that forces him to try to be the best prepared, the best positioned to deal with every scenario on game day- these efforts are time consuming and exhaustive. If you had checked his schedule as an OC I am certain it would have been booked full. And he would have told you that it required that type of 100% effort to be successful in this league, in this profession.

I ask you- where does he find the time to be an OC and the HC? What corners is he cutting from each to make time for the other? What is he missing along the way?

Jason can be a special (possibly great) HC, or he can be a special (possibly great) OC.... but he cannot continue to try and be both and have any expectation for true success. He needs to check those markers like he does for deciding the limit for his kicker on game days and he will see that he is outside of the range for success. Not for a lack of effort, but for a lack of time.

Really. I truly believe this and my saying so is not so much to bash the guys as to complain that he just cannot continue to perform both jobs as he has been to date. He needs to recognize that his pride is not worth a single loss to this team, and he needs to address the issue head on... as any good HC would do.

I will always support the team.

What I dont support is a head coach that continues to piss away games by making one blunder after another. Whether it was the 3 runs and punt against the Pats when all we needed was a first down to win the game, or calling nothing but shotgun plays when we had a 3 TD lead against Detroit, or iceing his own dam kicker.

Garrett is directly responsible for 3 losses this season. When he starts coaching like he knows what the hell is going on then I will support him.

Garrett needs a foot in the *** out the door. No support here.

And, my point is made.

I've been a fan since 1977. I've seen highs and lows and nothing will change my support of the Cowboys. No coach is perfect and they have all made their share of mistakes.

That being said...... Bring on the Giants!
