I don't know if it's possible to accomplish, but if Garrett is as smart as his Ivy League education he needs to change his offense this week, and start coaching more than ever Romo.

Last year the Giants, and Eli changed what they were doing. Once they got to the playoffs they went to the dink and dunk approach. Most importantly to help Eli, who had I believe had 20 picks for the season. Gilbride did one of the best coaching jobs I've seen in years. He simplified the offense, throwing high percentage passes, and took his chances on safe play action passes. It led to no turnovers and a SB MVP for Eli.

The problem with all of this is I think Garrett, and for that matter Romo are too proud to try this. If we are to have any chance to reach the SB he MUST try this, or something. The key to surviving in the playoffs is no turnovers. I'm just not sure it's too late, or if they have even thought about it.

First of all you would have to reel in Romo...that's going to be tricky. The first chance he see's that deep fly route he's going to want to sail it....instead of taking the safe, high percentage pass to Choice, or Crayton for 7 yds. If he and Wilson are going to earn there paychecks it's going to be this week.

It would be great for our offensive line also. If you think Jim Johnson is not going to dial up the blitz this go around you're nuts.

I see this as the only way we are going to get to the SB. What we are doing is not working and if the coaching staff is not smart enough to figure it out then they shouldn't be in the profession. Wade started coaching....now it's Garrett's turn. I won't be happy with just the playoffs. The team shouldn't either. They deserve it, and we the fans deserve it!

I hate all those drive killing bombs on 3rd and short.......Is Faux Genius calling these plays or is Romo changing them at the line?

He's starting to remind me of Wile E. Coyote. Too busy being a Sooper Genius and forgetting about the small things.

I think it's both of them. The red-headed-idiot is not coaching well. As far as Romo goes, remember what Parcels said about curbing his appetite for taking unnecessary risks.

An Ivy League education is good for investment banking. Since when was Princeton, Harvard and other Ivy League schools great football schools?

More passes to Witten? Aren't Romo and Witten drawing up those plays as we speak? ;)

Red is calling them. Anytime Romo changes the play at the line, it's a run. "Kill! Kill!" = run. And it's a good call - most of the time he's trying to beat the blitz by running by it but our offensive line/left guard get blown off the line of scrimmage.

And your first point rings true for more than just Ivy League. Dan Snyder is proving that being rich does not automatically make you an expert on everything.

eliminate the turnovers and we win every game-its that simple, this team is too good not to win if it doesnt have a turnover-i dont know why romo and red doestn realize this.

There is an old story about the scorpion and the fox. Perhaps Tony has too much scorpion in him.

hate that "Kill, Kill, Kill" crap. If we sit at home and know that is a run, doesn't every player in the NFL also know it?

Patience is not a virtue of Garrett, Romo and TO.......that is what it comes down to.......they simply do not have patience.....

A year in the West Coast offense would do wonders for Romo's patience level
