Seeing the Romo, Felix, Defensive, Spence/Ware, and Wade love but not so much Garrett.

I've been critical of his play calling at times this year and got to the point I didn't want him as HC because he'd still be the OC (I'm assuming that). But the last few games have been brilliant at times and he's consistently calling the right situational plays. Of course it helps to have the OL playing well and Romo out of his mind but he deserves a lot of credit even some for Romo's play.

So here's kudos to the Return of the King.

I'll give him kudos as well as one of his critics. He DID have a problem with situational play-calling as mentioned by a couple of former HC's, but he seems like he's really hit his stride. Loved the play-call down at the goal line on the one where Romo rolls out and throws to Phillips....and also liked the one where TC jumps over the pile on the other one. Helps when the o-line blocks.... :)

I was a full out critic as late as the Denver game, and I think he got beat in the 2nd Giants game. But since then I think he has been terrific.

I'm happy to stand corrected.

He's doing a sensational job.

Hopefully nobody else is noticing around the league.

I hope Garrett wants to stick around in Dallas. I hope he turns down any offers. I realize it would be the opportunity of a lifetime for him, but I am selfish.:)

I think after the Chargers game he learned a lot by watching what Norv was doing to our defense. It seems from that point on is when he started taking advantage of play fakes etc. He still can throw in some plays that make you go what the heck but for the most part he has called some great games.

Dat Right. Red is the most underrated coach in the league and I mean that.

Wrong. Red directed the #1 offensive juggernaut two years ago. Norv is good but a different style. Garrett didn't change anything substantive from that game.

If Garrett can just remember to stay out of empty sets on heavy blitzing teams, he will be an amazing play caller. Outside of that, hats off to him, he's proving me wrong.

I too have been critical of Garrett's play calling this year and I think some of it has been well deserved. However, I'll also give credit where it's due. He's called some very good games the past month. I think he's learning more and more every week and we certainly can't complain about what he's been doing lately.

Garrett gets his genius cap back again. :D

His gameplans have been brilliant the last few weeks. He has had the other team off balance the whole game. We are controlling the clock and even when we don't score we aren't getting 3 and outs and we aren't giving the other team short fields to work with because we are driving the ball.

My big criticism has been getting points. We get way more yards than points and often seem to choke in the red zone. I think a large part of that has been penalties on the OL. I also think he has been overly predictable in certain situations but it looks like he has started to adjust to that too now.

If we improve our red zone offense, we will win the SB the way the defense is playing. No one will be able to score with us, IMO. We averaged 400 ypg offense and should have been able to turn that into about 28 ppg instead of 22 ppg. I was really happy with the 34 we put up today.

The Garrett-Jones connections run pretty deep going back over 20 years. The whole family works with the Cowboys. It is obvious that when Wade is done the job will be Garrett's. I think Garrett waits for his chance to get the HC job in Dallas unless the Giants steal him from us when Coughlin retires.

He called good games but let's not forget the predicable calls as well. Two D-man called him out for being just that. Finally, at the goal line, he called something other than MBIII 3 or 4 times in a row.

He called an awesome game to combat Philly's blitz, once again, for the third time this year. Not an easy feat.

theres no way Jerry lets him get away -

I think Wade walks away with his head high no matter where this team ends up this year

and JG named HC

I almost died when he called the play-action on first and goal. I've been screaming for that call for months. Maybe he's been saving it.

His play calling on that 1st drive was sensational. If it weren't for the penalties we would have scored. The Eagles were really pumped up and called some crazy blitzes that 1st drive and Garrett countered them beautifully.

Our gameplan tonight was flat-out ridiculously good. They couldn't handle, well, ANYTHING we threw at them.
