Everyone remembers DeCamilis following Wade around on the sidelines. I meant to watch for which coaches had Garrett's ear during the game. Does anyone remember, or have the game tivo'd and is willing to look?

I'm just thinking, as far as the staff for next year, the coaches Garrett seems most comfortable with are probably the ones he's going to consult, and the ones he's most likely to bring back.

Only time I remember seeing DeCamilis was when Beuhler put the kick-off out of bounds.

Welp. I thought via the thread title that this was going to be how absolutley refreshing it was to see our HC that into the game. I can't remember that for how many years now? Switz, maybe?

These dude's like Garrett and that was one of my biggest concerns. Player coach relationship. When they now say they'll die trying...........I can believe that. He may want to curb the belly bumps from the bigger guys, tho. ;)

One thing that I noticed was that defensive and offensive players both went to Garrett to talk about things.

When Sensabaugh was mad at Newman, they went and reported to Garrett after they got off the field. That wouldn't have happened with Wade Phillips as head coach.

Yea I noticed that too.

ONLY thing that makes me nervous about this is.....'ME SO ZORNEY'. Remember, the skins hired him and looked real good in beating us and other teams. Then the next year he bombed. Granted, Zorn is a dolt, and Red is a stud....but it still makes me nervous.

It was refreshing to see our head coach so enthusiastic and animated as opposed to looking lost and confused.

There is no comparison between Jim Zorn and Jason Garrett.

Zorn is not a leader.

This comparison is straight up gross. Zorn? Really? This is apples and...........boiled okra.

LOL @ "ME SO ZORNY"

[I think the players like having a young HC with enthusiasm & smarts. He and the coaching staff did a pretty good job in just 3 days to make some much needed changes. I'd sure like to know what they see in the game film re both what plays worked & didn't & which players played hard & who disappointed them. Don't know if any players should be benched (except maybe our FG kicker) & of course that would depend if we've got anybody behind them.

Glad to know that Kosier healthy enough to start; that's a big deal for our OL & probably the reason the unit looked better in this game. .

When Newman/Sens/Ball came to the sideline arguing, both Garrett and Pasqualoni were there actively listening and appearing to try to clear things up and settle the guys down.

Also, on McCann's pick6, I saw a Dlineman (dunno who) came up and thumped Garrett...don't think I saw the defensive players celebrating or doing anything w/ Garrett before. Again, I think before he was strictly offense (which is how JJ wanted it), but he seems to have maybe been able to get all the guys, offense and defense, behind him to some extent

I noticed RB coach Skip Peete behind him a lot. Otherwise, I watched his demeanor and the player interaction, Offense & defense, like most of you.

As a side note, if he's coach next year, I'd love to see Mike Singletary backing him up as Asst. HC, if he doesn't keep his current gig.

For this to work Singletary would also have to handle the defense, and he is a 4-3 guy. I really don't see the need for "Asst. HC", but I would like having Singletary involved though.

Paul Pastrami (sp?) certainly had the "Wade" look down.

This looks more concerned and Wade's look was more confused.
