we need a pass happy offense. Garret was a great coordinator but didn’t have the personnel to run his playbook given we had a turnover prone QB.

1 great statistic about Garret’s offense was he was always ranked among the bottom 10 in 3rd and long percentage. Something we now consistently rank near the top in.

Whether it was Garrett or Linehan, we never seemed to notice when we had success doing something. We throw the deep ball once in a while and it works, and then we don't see it again for two weeks. We send Zeke out on a real route and it works and we don't do it ever again. Zeke gets his check down passes but he proved he could catch it further down the field too. Dak is able to score running the ball when he's in the red zone, and yet it's hardly ever called. It's like the coaches are going to run their predetermined plays whether something is successful or not.

Garrett should be fired.

Are we that bored this early in the offseason that we are just making things up to fill threads? I'm going to start a "Chad Hutchinson was the greatest QB we ever had" thread.

LOL...…...you want a pass happy team with the strength to run Zeke Elliott? And on top of that horrid analysis, you want Garrett to call the plays in that pass happy offense?

I think that is the absolute most horrifying suggestion I have heard in a long time.

the only people who want Garret to call plays, are the fans who dont like winning, the Jones boys and everyone in the league who has to face us. Those 3 group love them some JG calling plays.

This along with all this money invested and tied up with this line and now we are going to go pass happy. Veto that bill.

Said no one ever, until now...

He was never a great coordinator or coach for that matter.

Illegal shift, 5 yard penalty, still 3rd down...........

Yeah, the only thing keeping the Cowboys from being a dynamic pass-happy offense was replacing a QB like Romo with a QB like Dak.

Garrett should try to do something, people are starving around the world and this guy literally does nothing more than clap to receive millions. Insane.
