Garrett slams stadium?

Yea he lost by one against a future HoF QB with his rookie 4th rounder starting. Obviously he should have crushed them

That would be a valid excuse if the rookie fourth rounder was why they lost. They won the turnover battle -- the single greatest predictor of wins and losses -- and still lost.

Garrett was asked, "Did you think the sun played a role.....?"

"I don't want to comment on that."

Only stadium not built North and South?

Sun wasn't a factor in the red zone 3 times for would be TD's. But coaching is getting your players focused. He's not a coach.

It is an idiotic design flaw. wouldn't be surprised to hear JJ had a hand in that design
Right? I mean, you would think they would have put up giant blinds by now that can close to shut out the evening sun. I remember during the first ever game played on Sunday night, Al Michaels commented that he felt the sun would be a problem coming in out of the West. Only Jerry could build such a great cathedral, only to have it pointing in the wrong direction.

The Giants played in the same stadium and won.
That being said I would rather see the Cowboys play in that run down Cotton Bowl over that overglorified art museum.

at texas stadium, they used the lighting to their advantage, making other teams make plays in the blinding sun areas. you'd think they'd have contingencies drawn up for this sort of thing.

I stopped reading after the word "lost". Does anything else matter.....

Dunno should I ask the Colts, Panthers, Cards/Pats, and Steelers/Commanders. 4 of those teams will be eliminated from playoff contention after tomorrow is done

Garrett chose to not comment, and THAT is supposedly him "slamming the stadium"?

Yup. Couple that with Dez and Beas dropping RD passes and the odds of winning aren't real good.

I seam to remember Jones made the Cowboys switch sides of the field so the cowboys would be on the tv screen...and in the damn sun and heat

Maybe the art wouldn't have looked the same. You have to have great art at a football stadium ya know.

I started a thread on this but I guess it was deleted

Sarcasm at it's best. This is one of those games you'll look back on at the end. EVERY game is important.....
