I can't figure the guy as a Headcoach out.

His team's are mostly average give the multiple 8 and 8 records.

He gives you the occasional great season, or clunker season.

He seems just good enough to keep from getting fired.

He shows flashes like the Saints victory to where you think he has finally figured it out.

His main strength is motavating the team, but he seems to struggle with x and o and in game adjustments.

I am enjoying this season's turn around, but am concerned about the future.

What do my fellow Zoner's think ???

Oh he is Garrett the (something); but i think there is a filter in here to stop my real thoughts

I was happy when he got the full time gig, but he has lost me over the years. I think the players love him and they do play hard for him, so their is that, but game day adjustments, clock management, and game awareness seems to be lost at times. Maybe he will get better, but it's been 8 years, so I think he is what he is. They have turned it around, so he should get some credit for that. It looked like the season was just about to fall apart too. Lets see how the rest of the season plays out.

His job as HC is to have his team ready to play and win games. Some knocks on him are justified and some just goes way overboard. We have seen this team have very good season when nothing was expected from them and yet have failed when coming into a season with high expectations. Right now he has this young team heading in the right direction and has to stay on them to keep them focused over the course of the next 4 games. Should we make it to post season he should be expected to challenge for a trip to the SB and if he fails and should lose his job so be it. Believe me I'm hoping for the best for Garrett and his team.

He is an enigma for sure.

The one thing I'll give him, that teams plays HARD for him every week.
