Are there any other HC in the NFL that doesn't have a OC or DC for that matter.

I am saying is there any other head coach that is basically doing two jobs or more.
Heck even the great bill B is hiring josh Mcdaniels to run his offense.
I think garrett is forgetting the importance of a official OC. Its like he is like jerry (owner and gm). I know jason is smart but he is also a baby at Head coaching.

I just hope garrett and jerry would just realize that it is smart to have a official OC. We never come out on fire when we play. We look disorganized and confused on offense. And I wish we would snap the ball sooner instead of waiting til 1 or 2 seconds are on the play clock. This is why we have alot of false starts also. We wait way too long to snap the ball.

to name a few off the top..

Reid has a OC, Marty Mornhinweg
McCarthy has a OC, Joe Philbin
Payton has a OC, Pete Carmichael, Jr.
Kubiak has a OC, Rick Dennison

Watching the Saints game and I can help but notice that Brees doesn't hold the ball long at all. 3-4 seconds tops. Saints receivers run short fast routes to set up the long ball. You don't need a great offensive line when your OC(Payton) and QB are calling the right plays. :bang2:

Honestly, I cant think of another team set up this way. I have no doubts Payton calls the shots on game day but I have to assume he named a OC to assist in the day to day operations and game planning.

Payton and McCarthy both have installed offensive systems built to their QBs strengths as well as their WRs. Here in Dallas, it's not the same. Same thing with the Chargers offense, you can see the difference between their offenses vs. the Saints and Packers in terms of flow. Garrett runs an Air-Coryell influenced offense like Norv does.

this is all i am asking for from garrett. It seems like this is what we are lacking. Our guys doesn't seem prepared enough. I think dallas fans just don't know how many warts tony romo covers up by basically playing back yard football in our offense. He has to direct guys were to be and even then we have guys running the wrong routes/ running into eachother.

McCarthy and Payton call their own plays. Jimmy Robinson acts as our OC similar to them.

yeah i rather not give guys two titles. Just hire a man for the job. Robinson has enough on his plate with dez and ogletree:laugh2:

I thought Garrett's brother (John) was the passing game coordinator and Houck was the running game coordinator. I didn't realize that both of them then report to Robinson who then reports to Garrett?

It is an interesting division of labor he has set up in his coaching staff.

I would think just coaching Dez should be a full-time job. :)

Robinson is the Assistant Head Coach.

A lot of people wrongly assume that no gives Garrett any Offensive input. I just let them ramble for the most part.

this is gonna be the longest off season everrrrrrrrrr......
