Garrett's One Talent

This is the very reason why I can't take 90% of the "hate Garrett" crowd seriously. There is no objectivity, no real analysis, just personal insults and dislike. It is much more like a mob that wants something done. Don't tell me about anything other than what I want done, and I want it done now, and I don't know HOW it is going to get done, I just want it done. Silly.
How about two blown multiple score leads in the 4th quarter and two massive blowouts in prime time games in the last 7 weeks. Thats 4 absolutely pathetic showings seven weeks.

That objective enough?

Hmmmm, how's that defense? How the health of that defense? Tell me who is starting at LB this week? Tell me how many free agents we have signed for the defense DURING THE SEASON this year? That is a good start on some objectivity that directly relates to what you point out.

The Cowboys organization was panned heavily for allowing Brent on the sideline the following week.

As it should half been. A drunk who killed a fellow player is . . . allowed on the sidelines??????
I'll never figure that one out. merry christmas Josh Brent, enjoy the frozen dinner from your attorney.

Who do you think made the call to allow him on the sidelines or the non-call not to bar him from said sidelines?

Perhaps he may aesthetically throw it - this is subjective - but he still rarely knows when to challenge.

Blah blah blah, every coach handles that stuff well.

lol. geez, sorry. I bash the guy enough, I figured it would help my credibility if I was honest and gave credit where it's due. But you think I shoulda kept my trap shut I take it.

Actually that is not his one talent

Garrett's one talent is that he sucks so badly that people recommend promoting him just so he won't be doing whatever he is currently doing

I think Garrett is a really good coach Monday-Saturday, but then is terrible-to-mediocre on most Gamedays. Too many blown leads in the 4th quarter. Too many mimanaged situations. He hasn't seemed to totally learn from his mistakes. Anyway, I have no idea if he'll be fired, and if he is who will be or should be the next coach. I just know that right now for a lot of reasons (Garrett being one of them), I have no confidence in this team to do anything this year or next.

In the Twilight Zone? Apparently.

Hey, its better than all the E-Lie love from the E-Lie Club talking about "elimination" and "matters most" and "significant spotlight" and "big TV audience" games. Just sayn'

I guess since Romo screwed up too and you couldn't bag on Eli without having to hear about Romo you had to find some way to get him in a Cowboyszone thread that wasn't moved to the Rant Zone. Good job bro, must have been killing you to not mention him this week. WOW oh WOW!!

The Bears had 6 starters on defense out, including three pro bowlers. The Packers didn't have Rodgers, Cobb, or Finley.

What about the blowouts against the Bears and Seattle last year, when Dallas was healthy? Or the year before when they got murdered by the Giants with the season on the line. They were healthy enough.

I don't want to hear this nonsense about injuries. Do they hurt, yes. Shoudl they have beat Detroit and GB with them, yes. Would starters have made a diff against Chicago and NO, not likely. Using injuries as an excuse is not objective, and injuries aren't the reason that, when up 26-3, we ran the ball 7 times in the second half. JG is terrible.

lol.... ok... tell me who was slated to start 2013 on defense. Tell me how many of them were in the game on Sunday. Tell me how many street free agents saw the field on Sunday. You guys jump up and down and scream but it doesn't change reality. Reality is that this team is rolling out a mash squad on defense. Btw, we went 5-3 one year without Romo. If you have a serviceable backup I would rather play without my QB for one game than play with about 9 projected starters missing from my defense. We were missing the QB on our defense, we were missing the backup to our QB on defense, and then the third QB on defense got hurt in the midst of the game. Mob mentality. Scream for change and ignore how we got to where we are.

All fair points. If we are in that bad of shape because we're missing all of these projected starters on defense and its just not fair to say how much they stink, then we also shouldnt be seeing posts about....
"Cowboys can make a run in the playoffs"
"Dallas will go to Seattle and win"
"Dallas can get hot and beat anyone"

If the team is too decimated to be critiqued, then its certainly too decimated to make outlandish statements about the damage the team can do once the playoffs start. Agree?

Conveniently ignored the games from previous seasons that I mentioned. Nice.
