Garrett's Philosophy vs. SD coaches

I can't help feeling upset when the announcers kept mentioning that when the new coach took over at SD, he took what plays worked from the old coaching staff and integrated it into his system. They also gushed about Rivers ability to throw the ball in different ways including his side arm throwing motion - which the new staff was okay with that.

When Garrett took over as OC, he gutted out offensive philosophy which worked before. We strayed away from using the delay draw as our bread and butter run play and using Romo on play action and bootlegs. We used to dare other teams to blitz us and we would come up with the blg play back then.

No more. Garrett's philosophy has destroyed our offense. No longer are we a vertical passing team. We no longer look to the big plays and guys like Dez is wasting away learning this system and at times making mistakes because Romo's audible is confusing.

It pisses me off that some teams can insert an new player just like that into their system and make them successful. Us we take years to learn this offense, only to sputter during crucial situations.

I don't know about you but I'm ready for an entire new philosophy on offense. Get rid of Garrett's playbook. It has destroyed Romo and its wasting away talent like Dez.

JG is the ultimate copycat. He wants to copy what all the great coaches did instead of innovating. He is the ultimate wanna be.

I got to handed to him though. Without accomplishing jack, he has scammed the Jones for mucho bucks.

Yes his a total copycat. Even to the point where he doesn't realize the talent he has in this team.

If he is going to copy someone, at least copy a team that has similar player. We are not the Patriots. We don't have the same players. What the heck is so adamant about copying their offense. He is trying to make Romo into Brady.

We've been trying this 2 TE offense, wasting multiple 2nd round picks on TEs in a process. Romo's been more successful moving around and we've done better with 3WR sets but this clown keeps trying to copy a team that has different type of players.

I know, I really don't understand it at all. Its like trying to row up river in a kayak. It ain't happening. But Garrett is stubborn to the point that its wasting away our resources such as Romo and Bryant so that we can get his stupid scheme to work.

I envy the teams like SD. Their coaches game planned against us. Not only that, they took the plays the worked in the past for their team and integrated it into their scheme. Don't know why Garrett won't do that? Whoever gave him that label "genius" anyways?
