Gary Brown sitting at draft table so it's Zeke!

Cmon dude.. If Elliot comes in and leads the league in rushing and breaks records will you be saying the same thing?

If it doesn't translate into tons of wins and a SB run because we still have holes on defense, probably not.

Note I don't think Elliott is a bad player. I think he's a very good player. But I don't believe you need an elite TB at 4 to have a great running attack with this OL.

Wow, that's disappointing, too many needs on defense to do this. This has Jerruh written all over it.

Because you get 5 guaranteed years out of a 20 year old rather than hopefully 3 out of a late 20-something

At more than double the cost though.

They basically just did what they said less than two years ago they didn't want to or have to do.

It's only one round fellas we aren't ignoring the defense. They will be greatful with all the rest Zeke gives em though.

That won't explain the ENTIRETY of the war room occupants falling over themselves giving high fives while smiling broadly. <I thought Charlotte Jones was gonna give us an up-skirt shot for a moment there.>

Jerry likes shiny, flashy toys. Elliott is one. Manziel was another.

I just hope and pray they don't compound this by doing something stupid like trading up for a QB or then taking a WR at 34.

And ignore defence? Who else does this?

You can saying defence... what is defence. Beyond that our defense was ranked 15th last year without an offense to speak of... imagine what they could do with an offense.

I'm kinda with you. Would have preferred Ramsey. He's a playmaker and it's more cost-effective to take a CB at 4. Just giving a reason why it can also make sense to take Zeke there.

I wanted a trade down. But whatever. Elliott is a good player. I just hope they hit on defense immediately with the next couple of picks.
