Gary Kubiak as OC

I never understand the point of impossible hypotheticals. I mean, what if Jerry's grandson's hamster started channeling Vince Lombardi? Should we get him a head set and put him in the booth or put him on the sideline and risk having him getting stepped on?

Look people. It's not that I want to keep Garrett as HC, I'm just convinced Jerry isn't going to fire him.

Kubiak is a good OC and play caller and Jerry can spend as much money on coaches as he wants. Rome would thrive in this system and we would finally have a run game again. Jerry will keep Garrett here no matter what. He will use injuries and Kiffin as an excuse.

If we can't get ride of Garrett then let's get a better offense at least and Kubiak would bring that.

I dunno - Kubiak has a TON of talent on that team and essentially has done nothing with it. I'm not sold on the guy. Plus, I think he colors his hair.

I don't know, maybe helping to lead John Elway and the Broncos to two Super Bowl trophies? Just a wild guess. :D

Don't forget kubiak's time with Steve Young and his ring there as well.

He's done pretty darn good with the Texans as.well. especially considering that Schaub isnt exactly a franchise QB. More playoff wins than Garrett at least.

Impossible.

Garrett is the only person walking the face of the earth capable of achieving that. I've read that many times in just the last week.

Awesome!

I doubt the guy gets fired after this year due to his health and really his first bad year, but let say he does. I think he would be a great OC here. Garrett stays a head coach but just brings Kubiak in as OC and play caller and move Callahan back to OL coach.

Why wouldn't you just fire Garrett? With Kubiak, the whole Garrett play book gets scrapped.

bTW, Romo is the perfect QB for that system. Kubiak has some real pathetic QBs. Romo in the bootleg and attacking the middle of the field with he a beauty to watch.

It'll be interesting to see how the Texans go regarding Kubiak.

His health is an issue & their season is done. Wade is there & even if not Wade that is a fairly tempting place to go coach.

Which is exactly why he should go back to being an OC. Lot of success as an assistant. Not much as a HC. Won a weak division twice, and two home playoff games over the Bengals, who weren't all that strong of a team either. Always seems to underachieve vs. what is expected.

These threads are just getting absurd at this point.

Last I checked there were 6 games left.

A lot can happen in that time.

Why not let the chips fall where they may and go grime there.

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't the whole point of rooting for a team is hoping for the best instead of constantly *****ing about EVERYTHING?

This is not his first bad year. He went 6-10 his first season in Houston in 2006, which was somewhat expected. He also went 6-10 in 2010 and at that time was a big disappointment for that team. He is 3-11 over his last 14 regular season games(1-3 to end 2012 and 2-8 this season).
