Gary Oldman on his past roles

My favorite actor, it kind of hurts that he hated The Fifth Element but it was Besson's Leon that really made him my fave.
Still that was a great role in TFE.

I liked the 5th Element, but it was obviously written by a 15 year old. And Oldman's got a reasonable beef with his character imo.

I enjoy the 5th Element, when doing movies like that it's best to go all out and Besson didn't hold back. Enjoy his work a great deal but he can feic right off with Tinker Tailor, that movie is not good.

He is my favorite actor, by far.

What sealed it for me was his role as the pimp in True Romance. I thought it was brilliant.

I can't think of any movie he has been in where I was disappointed in his work.
