Really happy to hear that he returned to practice. I think this player is going to be part of a linchpin of our offensive success, and Linehan unlike Garrett will actually use him to create mismatches.

The other thing I'd like to see Linehan really focus on implementing is the no-huddle offense. We see so many offenses use this to their advantage, and I don't think any team has the compliment of weapons to utilize this as much as we do.

You really have to get defenses stuck in a position where they can't adjust for Murray/Dunbar and Beasley/Escobar. Escobar becoming a better blocker makes the no huddle even more valuable with him in the lineup than Beasley.

Was he out due to that shoulder issue after the catch he made vs the Ravens? I was worried it was something that would linger, glad he's back.

yes...i was worried he broke his collarbone to be honest.

he landed very awkwardly.

escobar, williams and of course dez are poised to have gigantic numbers this year with linehan running the offense.

Yeah. It looked like it could be more serious. He's gonna be a pretty good player.

How has his blocking looked?

He has got to be better than last year.

He can handle perimeter guys and can compete with OLB but he cannot do inline work yet. Witten and Hanna can though.

With that said, I think Hanna has had a stellar camp and pre-season.

I will be surprised if that shoulder is back to normal after one week, it looked more serious. I expect he will be limited in this preseason, note his touches this week and next. My opinion no other facts other than the way he landed and the way they were examining him on the sideline.

That's assuming he's actually given the opportunity to make plays and Witten isn't force-fed the football.

As long as Romo is given time and is comfortable he should get the chance to work the ball around.

I think a lot of that depends on how teams defend us. Escobar is presumably going to end up with matchups against linebackers or nickelbacks. He and Witten are going to present some serious matchup issues if teams bracket Bryant with safeties.

Nothing wrong with being wrong. Being loud about a negative opinion on a fan board and then quietly switching sides is poor form, in my opinion anyway. Not that that's necessarily what's gone on in Escobar's case yet.

It's regular travesty. We need to organize and deputize some members, and hunt these folks down. :p
