Have to say, it was a good team win, but the coaching staff continues to perplex me with their inability to run the ball early.

Dak was off a bit early, but calmed down quickly and had an excellent game. He is certainly the QB of the future. It will be nice to see him continue to grow here in Dallas.

Zeke continues to run hard, but Dickerson may be right ultimately in regards to the rookie rushing record. As much as I like Morris, I despise see him on the field. I hate how much this team goes into empty set, and the unwillingness to run in the redzone.

I thought the receivers all had a good game except for Terrance Williams who I'm hearing will be featured on milk cartons tomorrow morning. It's hard to believe that the Cowboys will resign him given what some team will end up paying him. I think they're comfortable with Butler instead who will come in for much cheaper.

The defense played a really solid game of football per usual. We still desperately need help with pass rush and the run defense continues to be a problem. We're lucky that teams can't go toe to toe with us yet on offense, because once we hit those offenses we are going to find ourselves in trouble. Especially if we continue to get cute with the running game.

Bailey continues to be Mr. Reliable. Can't believe how consistent he is. Extremely happy we locked him up for what a decade? I know a lot of you will remember when the kicking situation here was not a positive for us.

Man, this post is just too cautiously optimistic.

We just demolished the best defense in the league. I don't give a crap what tiny miscues or coaching 'mistakes' we made. I'm pumped up

This is a friggin good team and they continue to own teams right up to the final whistle

We really need a 2nd and 3rd running back to step up. Zeke has taken some serious hits the last few weeks and we're about to enter the meat of our schedule. Every remaining division game will be physical.

Agree with all points except that we have already played an offense that can match up with ours (for he most part) in Pitt, and we were able to scrape it out. Now can Brady hang 31 on us? Probably, but that'll depend on how much time we give him. If we can control the clock like today and put up our usual 24+, it's going to be hard for anyone to hang given that our drives eat up so much of their time.

I disagree with your analysis. Teams are playing to stop Zeke. We ran for over 100 yards against the best in the league committing 8 in the box most of the day. You come across as a whiner.

Agree with most of this, however I dont have an issue with our rush defense they had one bad series. The pass rush is cleary the weak link, but we knew that going into the season. The defense isnt dominant, but theyre good enough. Another elite pass rusher may change that. I wonder what Jared Allen is doing and if he has anything left?

On the offensive side its clear teams are dead set at stopping the running game. It has worked early in games, but the field definitely starts to open as the game goes on. I would love to see the Cowboys mix in more passes earlier and throw in some play action.

Any other fan base would be over the moon with team, I am.

This team is handicapped by a bend don't break D which often leaves the O with long drives to score...

2 long drives in the 3rd alone...

Sure as hell hope we get a pass rusher and ball hawking safety/corner next year...

Teams need to make a decision when they play the Cowboys - Either try and stop the run, or try and stop the pass. From what I can see so far, you can't do both.

Dak's accuracy to start games seems to leave a lot to be desired....but then he settles down and starts hitting passes.

But that early game inaccuracy kills drives. And if drives are killed....you're not going to get a ton of Zeke carries. That's the way the world works.

The middle passes/slants are killing us on D, I'm not liking the 3 man rush. But they made stops when they had to. Once we get church and claiborne back we should get better in covering the middle. But great win, just need to keep grinding it out.
