The only plays that worked in the passing game were the misdirection plays. Didn't do enough of it.
Prescott did look scared out there.

Dak is not the problem. WRs can't get open.If anyone thinks Dak still gives us the best chance in the playoffs, they're absolutely dreaming.
Nope...not with that type of defensive performance...I don't see it. Romo has never put up less than 14 points in any game against them. Romo vs. the Giants with 10 points is a no-brainer. Sorry...I like Dak and he certainly has earned a chance to bounce back and learn from the loss...but we are kidding ourselves if we think Romo circa 2014 would not have won this game. Maybe he isn't currently circa 2014, but this was an absolutely hideous showing by Prescott. I will give him some allowance for the weather but MAN...stunk like roadkill in the sun.Romo doesnt lose this game, sorry.
I agree...sadly, after tonight, the writing is on the wall...and now the questions start...the hedging starts...the doubt starts...the media circus starts. I just don't think Romo has many more big hits left in his body at this point.
I just think that Prescott, as good as he has been simply doesn't yet have all the necessary experience to carry this team through tougher challenges that await...Wilson couldn't do it and Roethlisberger couldn't do it either...and they both had better defenses. When you are 2 for 24 on third downs over two games, something is afoot. We can consider, after tonight, that Prescott has been exposed a little. That's not to say that he can't bounce back, but there were moments tonight when you just had to shake your head. You never felt like you were out of it with Romo in any road game against the Giants, especially one with a mere 3 point deficit. With Prescott, there was simply no reason to believe...he was that bad.Horribly played and coached game offensively. Dak and Dez played bad. Dak's accuracy was way off and he held the ball too long while the receivers couldn't often separate. The team could've lost by more if it wasn't for the defense. The good news is the team 11-2 with the best backup QB in the league.
Then how is it that they were open enough in the first game...enough to nearly break 20 points in scoring. Bench Dez and replace him with who? Bryant was arguably the biggest reason why they won against Minnesota. The rookie simply looked like a rookie tonight...lost, dazed and confused.Dak is not the problem. WRs can't get open.
Bench Dez and Dak will have zero INTs.
I agree. I think Dak has played mostly great but he's still a rookie. People can't lose sight of this fact. He will make mistakes because he just doesn't have the experience and that's not his fault. The last two games against tougher blitzing defenses he's played badly. He's not going to give the team the best chance to win if the Romo of 2014 is back there. The guy has ten years of starter experience and is a top five starter QB. The only issue is the injury one. This is probably the best team Tony has had in his entire career. He deserves an opportunity to lead the team if Dak continues to struggle.I just think that Prescott, as good as he has been simply doesn't yet have all the necessary experience to carry this team through tougher challenges that await...Wilson couldn't do it and Roethlisberger couldn't do it either...and they both had better defenses.
