Great game all around. Dak played extremely well and was careful with the ball but able to move it down field with ease. Zeke continued to be a beast, but was robbed of the 100 yard mark and the record setting pace.

Defense showed no signs that it missed Claiborne and Church. It was the Browns, but they still played an excellent game.

This team is putting themselves in very strong position to lead this conference with a first round bye. It'll be interesting to see what happens with McClain and Gregory. McClain should be eligible in two weeks... Do they even bring him back? Is he even in shape now? Maybe, maybe not, but defense getting better would certainly help this team as it attempts to get further. Would like to hear about Jaylon Smith as well soon.

This is the best team we've fielded in awhile. We find ways to win close games and obliterate inferior competition.

And how about Collins? Love to see that every week

His growth and development will speak volumes in the second half of the season and beyond.

Interesting to see what the team does with Crawford moving forward.

For sure, I was hugely disappointed to see Tapper go on IR as I loved the Collins and Tapper picks at the time. Really thought Tapper would have a few multi sack games this year.

Seeing that Crawford was the one who set the pick that got Collins unblocked to go along with the 2 sacks he had last week, probably let him play out his contract.

Not sure why people keep bringing up McClain. He done. He doesn't want to play.
I forgot about him completely, to be honest. You know what they say about the best "ability" for a player...

They missed church. Wilcox took a bad angle and clunked off Crowell on the big gain at the beginning

Gotta question.

In the offseason, there was tremendous talk about how the pressure from the DTs would result in more sacks for rpthe edge rushers. So far the DTs: Thorton, Collins, McClain, Irving have done well, but I have yet to see the edge rushers benefiting from this.

Safe to say our DTs are the strongest unit on defense

I think there's a much better chance that Jaylon Smith plays this year as opposed to McClain or Gregory, and I don't think the odds of JSmith playing are very high. It would be one thing if McClain came back to the team in shape after missing 4 games last season. Seems like it took him about 4 weeks to get back into shape, and that was with him at training camp. 10 games is just to long for a guy with his work ethic, and when he no showed training camp this year it put the final nail in his coffin as a Dallas Cowboy. Gregory has a chance to be a productive player for us, just not this year imo. 14 games is too long, and while he'll likely be in pretty good shape, that would leave 2 regular season games for him to get into football shape. I just don't see how you can cut anyone to add them, and I don't see them playing well enough to be worth it.

Maybe the smelling salts of playoffs or more snap him out of it for a short time

My odds
Gregory 20% chance he plays but not active for games
JSmith 5% chance he plays
RMcClain 0% chance he plays

Gregory's chances are rising with the passing of each week since he has less time to screw up.
My odds:
Gregory: 33%
JSmith: 20%
RMcClain: 1% unless reports of him in Dallas are true

I'm not even factoring in another drug related suspension when I saw Gregory won't play. Has everything to do with him not having contact with the team for 14 weeks. He would struggle with conditioning as well as the playbook if forced to play this season, and based off last year, how good can a winded Gregory who doesn't know the defense be?
