GBag Nation - Patriots Scouting Report

That made me feel more confident too. I'll take Diggs against Mac Jones any day. Also our defense will shut down their offense. I think it'll be a defensive struggle and we'll win cuz Dak is the better QB, Zeke is the better RB, we have better offensive linemen and obviously receivers. It'll be a close game and a war of attrition but our offense will pull away late 4th qtr. My prediction still stands at Cowboys 21 Patriots 17. Thanks 2deep for posting this.

Also on an unrelated to football point. That dude in the upper left was flipping hilarious. Yawning, stretching, biting his finger nails and bobbing his head. I laughed at that dude for a while. I watched it a couple times cuz he was entertaining. The whole video was funny and informative.

I can't wait for Sunday

If Pat's are zero threat to run, then I want Parsons to be rushing passer 90% of the time.

And I'd like to see Cox on TE Hunter Henry who I believe will get the majority of the targets.

And Dak will feast if Pats stay in single high safety.
Parsons and RG are going to be eating all day, especially if their offensive line is missing guys due to protocol. Osa will get some snacks too.

Patriots are a dink and dunk offense. They don't throw downfield much. And they held Tampa to just a couple TDs.

Yea they are near the top in attempts per game and at the very bottom in yards per attempt and completion. Rushing they are near bottom in yards per attempt.

The Cowboys will sit on short passes and come up to pick them off.
I'm sure BB will have crossing routes and pick plays in there to create underneath space but that only works so many times.

Pats are great with defensive adjustments obviously but Dak takes what you give him and eventually punishes you with CeeDee or Coop deep.
Think this is 27 to 17 type game. Fewer overall drives with both teams steering for ball control.

I actually like going to the grocery store. I like food and cooking. And my wife is definitely not going to be bringing me back corn chips and snacks that I want. That is for sure.

When I was a kid, my mom would let each child pick out a box of cereal. That was back when they had small prizes and toys in the boxes. Good memories.

I like to check out the supermarkets just for fun when in a foreign country. Japan is awesome for supermarkets. Go there when they are giving out samples and it is a free meal. Expensive but interesting. Germany and Italy supermarkets were pretty cool too.

The Patriots are not the Tom Brady Patriots. They are an average team and even the great Bill Belichick can't fix that.

But "on any given Sunday" is still true so the Cowboys have to not be distracted by the Belichick aura and just play their game. If there is a game on their schedule they have to lose, this is the one though. It is non-conference, non-division and non-common opponent. The Cowboys are the only team in their division that has to play them as their 17th game.

By the way, this 17th game is kind of unfair. Each team in the division plays one team from a different division. That means one teams gets the first place team and another gets the last place team. The WFT plays Buffalo, maybe the best team in the league and the Eagles get the Jets. How is that a fair schedule?

its because of where you finished. WFT finished first. so did buffalo, so 1st place against 1st place. philly finished last, so they play last place team.... how else would it be fair?

i hear an over confident meida base..the BB led pats will find way to yuck up and slow down the game and will dink and dunk us to death a d doubt puts Mac in situation to make mistakes and unless sacks come quick the ball will be gone..

most likely a long slow close game coming..sure we SHOULD win if we dont get cute or get impatient..

First place division schedule to last place....its in line with what they do for schedules honestly.

Hopefully McCarthys Cowboys are Not thinking differently than the "Brady Bunch " .

Thinking lessen and playing down to that level, is the kind of thinking that gets you upset and beat.

.. Hopefully we are smart and motivated enough to never slept on and underestimate legendary genius HOF HC Belichek.
With an inferior offense, they managed to make that Bucs game very tight and close down to the wire.
