Top NFL exec talks labor woes to juniors … According to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta president Rich McKay, who is tied in closely with the league's leadership, recently met with several Georgia underclassmen players who could leave school early for a shot at the upcoming draft. McKay reportedly talked about the league’s on-going labor woes and cautioned the players that the threat of a lockout should not affect their decision.

Among players at the meeting were star junior WR A.J. Green, OLB Justin Houston, CB Brandon Boykin, OT Trinton Sturdivant, OG Cordy Glenn and PK Blair Walsh.

Green, who is considered a top 5-10 pick should he make himself eligible, said he is close to making his decision about the draft.

Does anyone know anything about Trinton Sturdivant? I think he is on Kiper's big board for JR's.

He went down with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee early in the 2008 preseason camp.
Sturdivant missed spring practice in 2009 and seemed ready for his return last season. But he tore the same ACL in the 2009 season opener at Oklahoma State and missed the rest of another season.
