National champs lose another to draft … Auburn has announced that junior WR Darvin Adams has applied to the NFL to enter the 2011 draft. Adams led the Tigers in receiving this past season when he had 52 passes for almost a 1,000 yards and 7 TDs. Adams joins former teammates QB Cam Newton and DT Nick Fairley in the 2011 draft class, although he isn’t rated anywhere nearly as highly. Underclassmen had until Saturday’s deadline to apply for early entry to the draft, but names are still dribbling out as no one is obliged to actually make an announcement at that time.
