I am loving the **** out of this game. The campaign is amazing. Multi needs a few tweeks here and there but I find it insanely enjoyable. Execution is where it's at. 9.8/10

:laugh2: I'm chowing down on my fajita tacos right now, and the console log in screen is on my TV. I'm gonna tear it up until the sun comes up. I reserved it, no joke, the day after it was announced. April of 2010 I think.

First five minutes in, and the story line is great as to be expected. Love the first person zoom mode on the Locust weapon.

Watched some videos online. Not really a big 3rd person guy but Horde (Hoard?) was pretty sweet when I played it.

Looks like you use ammo quick. Lots of bullets needed to get the job done.

Lots of weapons laying around you can use as reload packs. Hammerburst has been scaled down from GOW2. Before it carried twice the ammo and had twice the punch of a Lancer. Now it's not as much of a huge advantage to carry the Locust gun.

You do use a crap load of bullets, all the time. Being able to blind fire is something I've always liked about the series.

Absolutely loving the game so far, I have a feeling this is going to take a large chunk of my life away in the upcoming weeks.

I know Skyrim will probably be game of the year but I think I will honestly enjoy Gears more.
The weapon skins, character skins, game modes and extra content is mind-boggling.

I honestly get a little emotional when I fire up this bad boy of a game.

I'm just working my way through the campaign right now. I cannot express how impressed I am with the character development and dialogue between them. Even if you hadn't played GOW 1 or 2, you'd still have no problem hopping in this one and getting attached to the characters. Good stuff.

Best line so far, other than my sig, was Cole walking into the super market and seeing the cardboard cut out of himself holding a box of cereal from when the world wasn't overrun and torn apart.

"You ever get the feeling that you're already dead, but nobody's told you yet?"

I thought that really captured the mood of his fall from Emmitt Smith/Jordan/Mickey Mantle like status to just another foot soldier trying to survive.

Gonna pick this up eventually love the first 2, wish i had more time for game these days are there's so much good stuff coming out the next few months

I can say that this is my favorite game of all time. Unbelievably great campaign.

Just a random observation, anyone notice how good the smoke looks coming out of the burning barrels? Take a close look at it.

Too many damn games coming out that look cool.

Already bought Madden 12, but Battlefield 3, Diablo III, Rage, The Elder Scrolls V, and even CoD though I'm done with the CoD series. The Battlefield games blow them away.

Not enough time to play them all. Right now the only one I'm set on getting is D3. (pre-ordered it) Though I will probably pick up Elder Scrolls once I'm tired of D3.
