So what do you guys think?

I am not a big fan of his loud mouth and I think he was exposed late in the year. His own hype about all the "talent" he had on the field bit him in the *** a bit.

I think he is a decent defensive coordinator who was overhyped coming in. Carr should help, but really, we have a lot of problems on the defense.

What say you?

I think the lockout hurt the defense (along with some of the players), but I want to see what he produces his second year. That might tell us something different.

;)

At first I liked the "swagger" he brought to the defense, but it then quickly just turned to an all talk, no walk attitude which i'm not a fan of

however, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt with that crappy secondary we had last season and am excited to see what he can do with an at least serviceable secondary.

cliffs: reserving judgement until the season starts

I think he needs to keep his trap shut.

Not very impressed with his "elaborate" Defenses.

Does adding 1 good player in Carr and a scrub like Pool really improve our secondary that much? Scandrick is still going to get a lot of playing time, which concerns me.

Good coach but he needs players like anybody else.

Don't pay any attention to what he says about his talent. He always says that. That's his way of supporting his guys.

Coaching isn't an issue in Dallas, IMO.

Too early. I want him to have a shot at a full offseason with more of the personnel he helped select.

I'm not sure how well he coaches (I'll give him another year)--I do know I don't like his dad.

100% agreed!! Yes, defense was exposed a little, however, I would like to see what happens with a full offseason in his scheme.

thought he did a decent job with the players he was given. He did not have an offseason and made our defense at least respectable from where it was. Now he has Carr, Pool and some draft picks, so we should see a top defense in the NFL.

I think we'll be just fine trusting him to run the Defense. That is not easy for me to say about the spawn of Buddy.

I wouldn't count on that. Not with the state of our defensive line and OLB not named Ware.

You're a very pleasant person aren't you? lol. I know I know im sure you're just keeping it real.

Like any coach, he should get 2-3 years before judging his squad. Generally, though, I very much liked his playcalling in 2011. The players really sucked (in the secondary at least), and I think he got more out of them than others would have.
