I guess that takes them out of getting Sanders
Yes, that's why they rushed to sign Geno.Did we even offer Dak
Jerry called but Raiders told Jerry, even the Raiders aren't as dumb as the Cowboys!
Didn't see that one coming....this QB carousel is gonna get crazy. Didn't see the Vikings let Darnold get free either....Wow! A 3rd round pick for Geno? Well, alrighty then.....
Don't even have to have a great one just someone that can play in your system and protect the ballAs I've said, teams constantly overpay QBs because there are so few great ones. Geno Smith actually has had a resurgence in his career the past three years and teams could do a lot worse than Geno. I'd much rather have Geno than Sam D who folded faster than Superman on laundry day in the Vikings playoff game.
As long as you’ve got great players in the trenches mixed in with at last a few playmakers, you’re good.Don't even have to have a great one just someone that can play in your system and protect the ball
Not really. Sanders can sit and learn for a year.I guess that takes them out of getting Sanders
With Dak at 60, Geno is a bargain at 40. Basically the same dude. Geno just had a harder start because he played on a garbage franchise that even made Rodgers look like every other QB that's played there.Glass Joe Smith is not worth anywhere near 40 million per year.
totally agree artAs long as you’ve got great players in the trenches mixed in with at last a few playmakers, you’re good.
It’s always an interesting debate on having a decent mid level salary QB with great talent around him vs overpaying a good or great QB leaving less salary cap dollars to build around him.Theres been some average QBs who have rings, Brady with the Bucs being one of them (Obvious top 5 QB, but his skills had deteriorated by the time he signed w Tampa and won in spite of him - check is playoff stats w Bucs).

Teams do this type of stuff. All teams, except one.
