Geoff Swaim won starting TE job?

I’m not sure I agree that swapping second tier talent for third tier talent is what people generally mean by keeping defenses guessing.

They won’t have to guess because they won’t care who you roll out.
Good point.

He won, but there was no competition. An undrafted free agent who played in 1 game last year, a 4th round blocking TE who can't block, and a guy who never even played organized football at a high school level before joining the team were his "competition".

I think it’s gonna happen with wideouts. Interchange twill Thompson Beasley Gallup Austin

Who didn't know Swaim would start? I told you that weeks ago. I could have told you that months ago.

Lol..like when I had 3 piece of junk cars, drove to work in the one that started. None of them were taking me on a long trip...like to get to the superbowl.

Don't forget about the new FB we have. He can be a weapon as a lead blocker and a pass catcher. He can line up at TE easily. In fact he has done so in Oakland. I think we will see a ton of 2 TE sets using him as the 2nd TE.
