Geoff Swaim would be a good return addition

I think he was on IR last year for Jacksonville with concussion symptoms. If he's somehow cleared of that, he may indeed be a low cost option.

For a vet minimum deal, I’d have no issues. What do people expect of our #2 or #3 tight end?
Certainly as a #3 guy I would have no problem with Swaim. Maybe even #2 if he is able to stay healthy, but I think I would look at all possible options before making that choice. We are going to need 3 TE's, and like you said, what do people expect from depth players?

I'd like to see one more guy signed prior to the draft, if for no other reason than to eliminate the possibility of the team doing something stupid again and taking one high in the draft.

Jarwin might be one of the best prospects at tight end they’ve had and they didn’t have to waste a second rounder on him. I hope get left with Garrett. It’s funny when it was time to invest a second rounder in one in Goedert they claimed they didn’t want him anyway when he got taken......

Pretty much every Special Teams unit and 4 - 7 plays as regular TE..

Swaim's ticket is if he can still play special teams.

I think they wanted to keep Swaim for the right deal, but the Jaguars offered much more than the Cowboys wanted to pay. Because they were high on Jarwin and Witten was returning.
For the right deal, I would be ok with this, however, still draft one if he is the BPA.

I would prefer they just draft a TE in the mid rounds. To be honest.

I also don’t think he can do anything that Dalton Schultz can’t. Schultz is also younger.

I would pass.
