Maybe it's also an issue of scheme familiarity as those mentioned already have a know-so leg up on newcomer IIoka.
But newcomer or not, if rookie draftee Donovan Wilson emerges that will add to the depth and have IIoka that much more on the bubble.

So much for those that thought for sure that IIoka would supplant Heath as a starter, eh?

He's not getting the reps like he should...This team just loves Jeff Heath. From the few reps I've seen of him...he had a would be sack..and a fumble recovery. He's really our best in the box safety...I'm getting the impression they are trying to sneak him through waivers...and bring him back after week 1. They don't want to guarantee his deal...to save money...so they can pay off that blackmailer Zeke.
