Sucks... I was standing in line at the store and all the 2016 review magazine specials were already out. The People we lost special was out too with Ali, etc... He won't even make that special edition magazine. Thats why they shouldn't put those out til Jan-Feb.

I'm not even betting this is the last loss of 2016. Celebrities and sports stars need to be looking over their shoulders until the clock strikes midnight. Or after CNY, to be safe, really. The hex is on.

I am sure in general 2016 is the same as any other year for deaths, but for celebrities, yeah it's been brutal.

Michael struggled with drug addiction for years. It's a shame...

There's always a cause, even if you're over 100 years old. They'll know the cause at some point.

Yes, that would seem logical. Curious to hear about what happened. He was very young. The heart giving out makes the most sense.

I guess I used bad wording... apologies. I meant he died from natural causes. He died in his sleep. They said very peacefully. And from his heart giving out. He had been working a lot and was preparing for a musical comeback in 2017 and working on a documentary. And investing a lot of time in his charities. Report were that he looked very tired, overworked, and stressed his last few days.

I choose to respect a person who has has actually done something with their life when they pass away and has been nothing but a kind person.

There are many things that are detrimental to health .

sedentary lifestyle
fast food
prescription drugs
hate and judgement of people are just a few.

I'm not one to judge ,,,and i damn sure am not going to throw stones and show disrespect to a great singer songwriter because he did drugs.

You would be shocked how many celebrities are hooked on drugs and booze.

Show some damn respect.

I guess I just don't see trickblue's comments as disrespect. He simply said

Drug addiction always wins...We was a talent but ultimately lost the battle... outside of Keith Richards... they all lose...

Gene Simmons comments after prince died were very disrespectful, but trickblue's comments didn't seem judgmental to me...

Only 53. Sad stuff, grew up listening to his music due to my mom being a huge fan.

Very talented. Sad he died so young. Been a terrible year for deaths in music
