Adult Language George Pickens is a Psychopath

After he was winning with them first after he used them up dude give it a break North Dallas 40 was written because of the 70s Dallas Cowboys and Jimmy Johnson with the White House in the 90s, he didn't get rid of any of the players and actually were part of that he only made an example out of lower end players just like Bill Parcells that they get rid of Lawrence Taylor admitting that he was doing Coke stayed up all night didn't even really get sleep and just rolled into the game and used more coke to get through the game... I can only imagine without social media back then and the TMZ and people following them around what was really going on do you think that Broadway Joe with the Jets was only getting drunk did they were going to some of the hottest drug use type clubs back then I mean come on womanizing drugs it was all going on and we just didn't get the see even 1/4 of it....

Trying to sell us that Bill of goods that way back then they were all using steroids they were all getting drunk partying not every one of them but most of them that Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells they put down the rock the hammer and they would not keep players like that dude you're delusional.

What was those movies college high school football moves like Varsity blues, They barely touched on what really goes on and how much these kids are getting away with because things are getting covered up kind of hard to do nowadays too many phones too many videos too many people look into make an example out of them now but trust me there's some crazy things been going on in sports behind the scenes that barely even come out....

I'm trying to tell me how you think Jerry is the only one that has players that may have troubles that he's allowed on his team that is ridiculous that's pretty much the whole entire league how many chances did guys like Josh Gordon and Alden Smith get guys like him all over the NFL have been on other teams not just Jerry's..

Landry was not a st if it came down to superstars and winning trust me if it didn't get into me and embarrassed the team and they were trying to make sure of it those players remained on the team...
North Dallas Forty was a fictionalized tale of a team that seemed very similar to the Cowboys, no. coincidence since Pete Gent was a WR for the team.

As such, there were embellishments.

But I'm not niave, the 70's Cowboys had their share of issues. However, they were mindful of the family atmosphere that was prevalent back then and the players were seldom mentioned unfavorably by the media.

My point was referring to the Cowboys image, I am well aware of the reality.
Lance Rentzel got rid of himself, Landry had nothing to do with it! Joey Heatherton says hello…
Rentzel wasn't traded to the penitentiary. He was traded to the Rams where he played an additional 4 years.

So... He is a dumb version of Michael Irvin?
He's far from dumb. You can see that from just listening to him.

He gives us as much firepower and maybe more, than teams like Philadelphia or Minnesota, Rams.

I mean, this has Greatest Show on Turf vibes if.Blue pans out and a few other things go our way. I think it's definitely RBBC though, because we have players like Mafah and Williams, who are both good at pass protection, which I think gives them an edge for the 53.

Anyway, maybe I'm being hyperbolic. But we should have a good offense.

But no matter what people keep saying about the run game, we're still designed to be a pass-first team, which in turn makes it easier to run.

The Cowboys have to be able to make teams respect their pass. And I think they can do that. Our guards help with both.

Just saw a DLLS podcast interview with Keyshawn Johnson, who said at one point CeeDee has been the "Lone Ranger" for 3 years in Dallas.

someone don't let me down now, ...

If it hasn’t already happened, that agent of his better sit him down for a long discussion.

The entire league is watching his behavior at least as much as his on the field play.
That's a fair point but what I'm most concerned about is his propensity to push off before the catch.

Being a Steeler allows a certain level of rule bending but with the Star on his helmet, those same ignored push-offs will make the flags fly

The hope is that Pickens no longer facing double coverage or the #1 CB will alleviate this

For the record, I did not say that Pickens is dumb. I said that he is a "dumb version of Michael Irvin". I am surprised, but I guess that I have to explain that...

Both are/were VERY talented receivers. But Irvin put all of his energy into beating the opposing team. Pickens seems to put a fair amount of energy into beating UP the opposing team.

Dude looks like an absolute monster. I never really heard about him in Pitt but he looks like he’d be the best #2 in the league and the #1 on half the teams.
That seems right to me. Very little doubt about his on the field ability.

My questions…

Was it the right deal for this team at this time given the cost and the likelihood of not being able to retain him?

And a distant second….will he behave himself when he feels as if he isn’t being used properly in his walk year?

You can claim all you want about the fantasy they didn't have social media and they didn't have as much media up their **** it came from somewhere where there's smoke there's fire that stuff was going on if you don't think it was going on I feel bad for you... They weren't let go until they were used up until they absolutely couldn't be there anymore I read all the stories everybody knows the truth stop hiding the fact that big man on campus is real everywhere and it was real with Landry it was real with Johnson it was real with parcettos they all allowed this crap to go on just because you have your head under a rock and you're naive you don't understand they were allowed to play here even after these accusations were happening from day one these players had problems and they remained on the team for years before they were allowed to walk so stop being naive you're not convincing real people that Tom Landry was any different than any other coach if you are a great player you will remain on the team...

He played here even though the rumor in 1966 that he already did this and he did it again in seventy and he was still on the team until his wife deforced him and came out and talked about all of it and they had no choice but to move him this it went on for four years this was no different than the some of the stuff that happened with Watson and Cleveland and they allowed him to stay don't act like it's different you're naive the same thing with the other players you mentioned they literally as a rookie Hollywood Henderson came up and rolled up in a fur coat he was doing drugs from day 1 and Tom Landry turned the blind eye the fact that he was snorting cocaine that was mixed into an inhaler that was supposed to be for allergies it was a fact it's all there in writing you can't hide it tom Landry has no different than any other coach if you were great and you were helping this team win win playoff games and win Super Bowls you remained on the team again renzel was on this team for almost four seasons after they acted jason started and he was on the team at least in 1970 even after that accusation until he asked to be sat down because he needed to get his life in order then his wife divorced him and then they traded him to the Rams there is a real info for you in case you need to stop making excuses for Tom Landry he's a football coach football coaches turned a blind eye to the superstars on the team until they couldn't anymore but they did and back then they hit it more than they can hide it now and yet it still goes on today but something like that we've never be allowed to happen under Jerry Jones because it never has...
