George Pickens over the last three weeks

Imagine Picks and Lamb and Ferg all on the field at the same time.

The worst thing that could have happened this year was CD getting hurt, and Pickens getting 10 targets a game. Maybe finally some of you realize how .........ing stupid it was for him play RB.

Now Pickens will want and deserves $30M+ and Jerry will most likely give it to him. Then we can look forward to losing next season 45 to 35 every game.

We could have also re-signed him after the trade and locked in the price at the time. Regardless on the positive side Pickens has shown he can be the #1 guy and we're not wondering if we wasted sending a #3 pick for him.

Disappointing to see Ceedee miss time under the circumstances but regardless Dak gets to build more rapport with Pickens and teams will have to game plan for both when he gets back.

Pickens has brought back the deep-ball element to this offense that had been missing in recent years.

I believe he’s 3rd in the league in yards and leads the league in TDs. Doesn’t even take in account all the PI penalties he’s drawn.

Dude is a major weapon.

Pickens was a great get only if they resign him. A one year rental on a losing team doesn't mean much. It's why I wanted Tyler Warren in the draft so badly. I'm sure Booker will be a fine guard for years to come, but Lamb/Pickens with Ferguson/Warren and J. Williams at RB would have set the Cowboys at skill positions for years to come. They missed out on Warren in my opinion but still have an opportunity for a great WR group...only if Pickens is resigned.

Dallas has to know what they've got for the future right now. Mingo has to play. Carson has to play. Nate Thomas, Flournoy, Revel, Overshown all need to get on the field. To truly utilize the picks they acquired from the Parsons trade Dallas has to do deep evaluations of their current roster. Sign the players who've performed (Pickens) cut your losses with players who haven't (Mazi/Schoon) and get a good look at the youth on your roster. They have 3 selection in the top 64 picks for 2026 and must hit on every one of them.

Pickens is a no brainer and for an organization that's short in the brains department. Sign him so that Will McClay can focus on more important things like picking up Jerry's Monterey Melt and maybe, possibly, offhandedly get us an interior defensive lineman that can play.

One of those names arent like the others

There is nothing Pickens can do this year to make me comfortable giving him a long term extension. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do it. I would just always recognize the risk.

He's been a knucklehead his entire career. Good behavior in a contract year doesn't convince me that's changed.

George Picken will be a Dallas Cowboy at least through ....2026
There is no way in hell Jerry will let him walk........new deal or tag but he ain't walking after this season.
No way we tag Pickens. We should trade him now. He's playing well enough to reset the market, and there are a lot of teams in need of a legit #1 WR. We can't be re-creating Matt Millens Detroit Lions and hope to win.

.

It they already know they don't plan on signing him, they should try to move him while his value is super high.
We are not going to win anything this year with this defense. We should try to get some picks and play younger players so we can evaluate what we have for the next season.

Agreed.

The worst possible position to be in will be him leaving us in free agency. We have to find an alternate path.

So I fully anticipate us losing him in free agency.

Well, like some other posters have pointed out, we are now in the era of teams having two high priced receivers so if Jerry decides to pay for a proven player in Pick, he can hopefully use picks toward helping the defense and consider the WR solidified for the next 4 years
