George Pickens, take a bow

A TD and not a TD is not the same thing. Nice try.
I'm not sure what you're talking about i'm just telling you when guys are out there producing it may look selfish but they're also helping the team tolbert's made plenty of nice catches this year he doesn't get credit for it because people think he sucks he may not have earned a new deal but as far as where he started this season as WR3 it was the right choice it proves it was the right choice he and Turpin were both WR3 kind of split in time that was the right choice I don't care what everyone saw in pre-season and wanted some of these other guys higher these last couple games show it was the right choice for the WR depth chart...

Elite is not measured in 4 games...

I think he meant elite game ,not an elite player ,he's not an elite player,

but he's close on that next tier, I still consider Lamb elite because he plays all the wide receiver positions, and also is used behind the line of scrimmage, and in the run game, to some of y'all dismay..

he does it all he's, Swiss army knife, that's why he's elite he plays from everywhere and he's almost always open.

Pickens is not elite because he doesn't get enough separation, he can't play multiple positions, and his route tree is a little bit smaller, but he had an elite day, he stepped up and did exactly what they asked him to do, and it lessen the blow from missing Lamb. will need do it another game at least.

I still think Lamb will be back for Miami.... At least because of Pickens and the other receivers having such a solid game they don't need to rush him back like in years past they would try to make him play Green Bay most likely it would taped it up shot it up and told them you need to get out there and play...

If he has to do it all, you have a problem with your team.

Just made himself a ton of money.
after one week???? so many are so easily swayed by one game. glad ya'll ain't the GM.

let's see some consistent WR1 production over the next few weeks while CD is out, and let's see solid production all season long....then the Cowboys can see where the market is and how much he's worth.

Still don't understand where you're going with this Someone who's 3rd on the depth chart or 4th does not need to do it all nor will never need to do it all They already made it clear we have our number one guy they brought in George Pickens to make sure we didn't have to make him do it all as you say and if we would have gotten who we actually targeted number one on our board last year was TET the receiver that Carolina got and he's playing really well that was our target george Pickens wouldn't even be here the Cowboys are aware they need a true number two and Tober's not that but he's a really good number three every team needs these guys..

They all played well Sunday night that's a positive when you're missing your number one that everyone stepped up they stepped up a notch that is what you want that is what a good coaching staff does and Brian Schottenheimer directly related to the offense you can see that they all knew their responsibilities and they did their jobs...

But somehow he gets injured playing RB. Not WR in motion. Actually RB.

Unbelievably stupid, especially when our starting RB averaged over 7 yards a carry.

I think that people owe an apology to the Cowboys staff Turpin and Tober are fine at WR 3 and WR4 and then when needed they both stepped up with George Pickens...

Isn't it ironic that when the run game is doing well that other things work and when you can block long enough even if it wasn't perfect Prescott will find the guys..
Been preaching that forever. Very few qbs can succeed without a run game to at least threaten defenses.

Turpin is really turning into a nice little receiver. Hes one guy ive never crapped on.

Tolbert I owe an apology. I had his back, then gave up on him. But hes made some key plays and deserves his flowers.

It's called complimentary football, which Cowboys fans have been unfamiliar with for a long time.

Now we have it on offense.

Defense is not even close yet, with the injuries, but we are getting more physical and the run D is improved.

I still think you're wrong I'm sorry I'm not agreeing with you at all It doesn't matter what you feel many teams have this same play in their playbook i've seen it all around the league you only think it's stupid 'cause he got hurt but he did it I bet he's done it 42 times since he's been a rookie and I didn't hear anybody upset till he got hurt that's not how it works I get it We would like to go back and fix it but in some capacity the Cowboys have not lost a game because of it because George Pickens is now growing up and maybe this was a silver lining it is not for the season I believe he'll be back for the Miami game so in the end it didn't cost the Cowboys much because the defense is not playing well And as you can see it's kind of hard when you ask the offense to score forty five to win a game. That's insane that's what you should be upset about that's what's unbelievably stupid is the defense Take a step back off the ledge let the coaches call the plays and again I remember this on other people's Game day playbook i've seen it i've seen it with Jamar Chase and Jefferson they all do it occasionally and this time it just didn't work out but City Land been doing this since he was a rookie he used to return punts as well....

The hindsight experts around here are ridiculous he's done it so many times without getting hurt and now all of a sudden it's a big deal look it happened he's not that hurt he'll be back Like literally be back probably before the defense ever gets good enough that it matters that's the truth this is 2020 all over again..

So until the defense get fixed stop worrying about Lamb he'll be fine the offense is going to be fine....

Hey look...there's not a lot to get excited about around here. We'll take what we can get.

You only think, that I only think, its stupid because he got hurt.

Ok let's start drafting WR to play RB.

Yeah that is hilarious since running backs go out and run routes and in the past game they're used in the past game as much as wide receivers sometimes can be used in the run game they do this thing with their feet called running they run routes they're in traffic sometimes short bubble screens they're going to get tackled sometimes they're going to get tackled from behind they get hurt just like anybody else on the football field gets hurt it doesn't matter how they got hurt it's just bad luck so you can keep saying really ridiculous things that I just checked you on..

How do you think there are guys like Bijan Robinson that could be part of the 1000 Thousand Club that's because they run the football and they also go out and catch the football It's odd that they're a running back that they run wide receiver routes it is also odd that a quarterback should just be standing still in the pocket and never run with his feet in football you know those things on the bottom of his feet and then they add to the run game even quarterbacks are part of the run game It's in the word it's called football
.
FOOT-BALL lmao It's also hilarious that sometimes offensive lineman become full backs in short yardage I mean it's crazy how we can just sit here all day and you realize you have egg on your face because this is a normal part of football that is why even sometimes you have a guy like Deion Sanders that plays special teams defense and offense that's really odd this poor guys are putting themselves in harm's way on the football field...

There's a two way player for the Jaguars right now you remember him heisman Trophy winner plays both sides He's risking getting hurt.

This is why your premise is ridiculous all players have position flux and at sometimes you do crazy things to try to come up with a play to trick the other side it's like playing chess and in this case we've seen him do it at least 30 or 40 times since he's been a rookie lamb has definitely run the football like a running back it is too bad you don't understand the only time you had a huge problem with it or noticed it is when he got hurt too bad again Go back it happens.

Yes I've seen other wide receivers run the exact same play We've also seen running backs play quarterback in a Wildcat and they throw the football wow all this possession flex it's insane how many players play different roles on the football field......

If you don't understand the difference between the two positions you are helpless.

Stay focused, bow once the season is over, one of the Cowboys biggest issues is game-to-game consistency. All gas for the QB and WRs, shred everybody.

If you don't understand the difference between the two positions you are helpless.
So you're the one who's hopeless I understand what each position responsibilities are it's quite obvious on what they usually do but I can promise you this everything I said is true, all these players been used in different roles, it's called position flex, it's been going on in the NFL for quite some time It's how a guy like Taysom Hill used to be a quarterback and can be used as a tight end a running back 1/2 back a full back these guys can play pretty much anything that is how they arrived in the NFL..

You act like we were using him as a running back, on every play or we were short running backs and we made him a running back no this was a running play, using a wide receiver, and it's done all the time,

you're the hopeless one,

because you want to argue this even though Lamb has ran that play about 40 times since he's been her and this is the only time,

Apparently you think you know more than the coaches and that's fine

I get it you're clueless you're delusional and you like to argue

I realize he's a wide receiver that would very seldom be utilized as a running back in a run fit but they do design plays like that on every team

they literally have done it on every team I watched the NFL have seen them line up there yes just like we see a fullback lineup as a tight end or as linemen up as a fullback, This has been going on for ages, it's also funny that sometimes you see the wide receiver line up under center or in shotgun and then who's running down the field Oh my God yeah how could you put your great quarterback in a position to be the MVP of the Super Bowl as a wide receiver?? that's right that's been done as well it was Nick Foles has done it other people have done it you know you could have got your quarterback hurt..

Apparently, you don't watch football because these plays are designed like this all the time where you have a few times a year or you may have a handful of these type of plays that you utilize to try to trick the defense,

I mean you're trying to tell me you've never seen a quarterback go out for a pass and win a game with a touchdown or at least get a first down and have the wide receiver play quarterback???

I mean dude you just don't get it and you will never get it this has been done already about 40 times here not with just Brian Schottenheimer, Mike Mccarthy used CD Lamb used to be a returner he can run the football, so occasionally yes he's going to line up in that position 5 times a year and you act like they just did something nobody has ever thought up or done and you're wrong you're very wrong and you need to just let it go because you're not going to win this the coaches have done this for decades the position flex in lining up players in different spots to trick the defense it happens

Only reason they're complaining is because he got hurt but he said it 40 times before that yes since his rookie year he is lined up in that spot about 40 times...

Now go away, i'm done with this you're very wrong you're not kind of wrong you're 100 percent wrong ,

he's not a running back but every once in a while you'll line up in the spot we're running back and normally run and then they let you run the ball and then the next game when the defense sees that they all bite on that Play and they all go after CD lamb and all of a sudden the ball going the other way 30 yards down the field because they set it up by utilizing these plays...

you don't get it, I understand you don't know anything about football if you don't think this is been done before over and over not just here everywhere...

You are Upset because he got hurt maybe he was in your fantasy Football League but that's no reason to say it was stupid because it wasn't it wasn't blatantly stupid, he just happened to get hurt this time..

This was a normal play in a lot of playbooks that are seldom used but they do it to trick the defense and to set them up when they see that formation again and next time it's something different II get it that you don't understand football at all because you think this was wrong and it was not wrong he just happened to get hurt this time so bye you have made it back to my ignore list because you will not let this go you're not a coach they ran it and they ran it about 40 times they'll run it again and you'll just have to live with it...
