George Pickens talks Cowboys' scheme, tandem with CeeDee Lamb; more

That’s very true. Against the East he’s been stellar. He’s 33-8 against the East.
He has lived a largely charmed existence against the east. I doubt it’s going to be easy this season with the Eagles and Commanders improved.

All true facts. Brady made a living with the AFC East being so bad as well. That’s the ticket to being a QB. Be the best QB in a bad division.
The difference being that Mr. Brady was also pretty good when faced with a challenge. Our guy curls up and sucks on his thumb under pressure.

"A different scheme could allow me to do more," he said. "It's a good thing. … College is probably the most recent time I've played with a lot of guys with speed — a lot of guys this fast. … Team speed applies to the scheme, too. So if you got a lot of fast guys, you're definitely gonna have a different scheme."

"A lot of motions," Pickens said of the playbook. "A lot of things that you get an indicator on what the defense is doing before you say hike. Some coaches don't do that."

"You can't cover everybody," said tight end Jake Ferguson of the addition of Pickens. "Having him, No. 88 and Jalen [Tolbert], and some of the young guys like myself, Brevyn [Spann-Ford] and [Luke] Schoonmaker, you physically can not cover everybody. I think it's going to be really hard for defenses against our pass game, but then we'll run the ball, too."

In truth, that's the real deal to make a very top offense!! :flagwave:

Well, if past performances are any indication of future performance, they are going to fold like cheap suits, then open the floodgates on excuses.
You think CeeDee sucks?

That’s an interesting take. The rest of the league would disagree with your criticism.

I like this team vibe:

"… I think Schotty's done a great job in minicamp of putting guys in places, putting guys in space and allowing guys to see how he's gonna use them."

He also had plenty to say about Pickens' character, something that was under scrutiny before he landed in North Texas.

"I think that's why you should never really listen to what somebody else says about somebody," Prescott said of his new, additional superstar receiver. "I think you should find out for yourself who they are and allow them to reveal their character to you. The guy's been great.
He's been phenomenal.

Do we have great Team Speed ..?

Do we have great over the top of defenses/ vertical speed ..? Great run after catch guys ?

Do we have great quick strike capabilities ?

How do we compare in team speed to other NFL teams ?

- Philly has it with AJ Brown & Devontae Smith ...

- Detroit Lions ? ... Jameson/St.Brown & Gibbs ?

- Miami per Tyrek Hill & Waddle ? Anchone/Mostert

- what about Cincy with Chase & Higgins ?

Root for Philly then. Jeez the length people will go to to trash their own team. SMDH.

A legitimate deep threat. Not a guy that defenses can be content letting him take his shots.
Makes a big difference for the offense.
