MOBILE, Ala. -- Stephen Jones usually watches Senior Bowl practices from the stands. But on Tuesday, he was on the sideline for an up-close look at the North team in its first practice led by the Cowboys' coaching staff.

And the Cowboys' executive vice president came away impressed by North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz.

"I thought he was outstanding," Jones said. "Hell of a job."

Added Cowboys coach Jason Garrett:

"We're just getting to know him. I thought he handled himself well, picked himself up well. It's fun to see him play."

Yup! He also said Garrett was doing a tremendous job this season, so he obviously knows what he's talking about.
